Guys,
You'll get used to Mickey. He's got a good line in sarcasm. You're reading this totally wrong.

Alan Vaughan is on twitter at @alanvaughan4 and also Facebook , Question was what happened to Alan Vaughan? Think we have discussed a lot of good and negative things but looking at his twitter account it looks like his son is boxing in the Monkstown Box Cup 2014 in Dublin... Story continues but it can only be good for British boxing to have him involved in the sport we all love.

He was a really good boxer, getting caught early by Peacock doesn't mean much; Peacock got chinned as an amateur as well didn't he? If Alan has made a few mistakes in his life then he's pretty much like everyone else. I'm glad he's back on track and hope he's enjoying the training etc.

Why did Vaughan never give the pro game a go?

I think he is involved in the GB amateur coaching set up in some capacity.

Funny reading this thread in its entirety after such a long time. Olympic Boxing and Harry Boxing clearly the same person.
