Is the Flanagan vs Matthews fight off ?
Fight has been removed from Boxrec schedule. Got to feel sorry for Flanagan if so.

Liam Walsh vs Gary Sykes - OFF
Liam Smith vs Nav Mansourii - OFF
Not look great for this once good looking undercard.

Fwank's cards never hold together, and it was inevitable that this one would collapse too. Just wait until either Delboy or Tyson withdraw, then we'll have something to moan about

I don't think it's been made official but I read that Matthews has an ear drum injury.
It was rumoured weeks ago that he might withdraw from this one though...
Flanagan deserves a proper fight and soon.

Hopefully they get a decent replacement in for him, maybe for an international title of some sort, Stephen Foster would be a good fight for him.magnus wrote:I don't think it's been made official but I read that Matthews has an ear drum injury.

Would Derry relinquish the British title for Flanagan to challenge for? They do share a promoter so it's possible...
