He's beaten some good lads over in Aussie and he has a good following in NZ. I'd fancy his chances against Kovalev more than Caparello's.

I think Berridge is there to be hit more than Caparello so when facing a big puncher like Kovalev Caparello stands a much better chance IMO.

Berridge has a punchers chance, Caparello is certainly no puncher.

Berridge is a bit over rated in my opinion, hes boxing skills are limited at best and foot work is horrible. He's a puncher with a big engine and as he's proven that carrys you a fair way in this sport. However his chin is suspect as he's been floored often enough and against the next level of opposition we may find out that it becomes his achilles heal along with his lack of genuine boxing ability. Caparello has a chance of outworking and outboxing Kovalev albeit still a tough and dangerous fight for him. In my opinion Berridge is to plodding and stands right in front of you hed be stopped by Kovalez whos a level above him inside 4-6 rounds.

Very bad loss for Berridge the other day. Not so much that he lost but how he lost, especially given the platform he had to showcase his abilities.

An unexpected setback. He was never in the fight from the start.

What was the story with this fight?

Why wasn't Berridge's manager Vasco with him?

he'll definetly fight taihia now seems logical, i wana seea rematch between him and caparello in the near future, i reckon he'll have to build a good winning streak against some good opponets if he wants that title shot

^^ Finally someone who shares the same views on Butcher.
Butcher's most certainly over rated, his stance is weird as hell lol
and he pretty much has 2 jabs on both arms, a big left hook and
a lazy right in his arsenal. He throws uppercuts and body shots
now and then but is only limited to the 4 basic punches as stated.

Adrian Taihia is more suitable for Butcher, he's not ready for Caparello.
Caparello has too much technique and skill for the limited arsenal that
Butcher has.
