If the jaws a problem, it will be a mental thing, possibly something to do with the memory of the pain he went through and sub consciously doing everything possible to avoid getting into that situation again. If he does decide to carry on, besides another change in trainer, I think they should get a sports psychologist in to try and help him, I'm not usually fan of that sort of thing, but in this case I think it might help.

Not necessarily mental, could be actual physical pain that he isn't adjusted to and knows his chin can take the impact

Maybe you have to look at the overall take on this.
Bad results so ditches trainer.
Goes to cockney land for superior knowalls.
Why didnt he go to Jimmy Tibbs ?
He would have told him that the basic right hand against a turnaround southpaw aint gonna work.
It doesnt matter how much sparring you do against heavys , middles , welters southpaws you must have a game plan .
Ricky is such a nice guy and I think he is taken in too much

Doesn't mean Fwank didn't sort it out with him privately which is my understanding what happened...again If someone owes you 2mill your hardly going to be sat ringside next to the fella all pally pally are you? When the last time Joe said anything about being owed money...[/quote]
What about the other fighters who have complained about not being paid?

Whether he paid Calzaghe late or not at all, he didn't pay the purse within 7 days as per BBBoC rules. The man is a dick.

I don't blame him for messing Joe about. He did an unbelievable job with Joe, he was hardly media friendly and had a history of pullouts. I thought it was a low trick of Joe to dump Fwank to be honest.

Regardless of whether he paid Calzaghe late or not at all, there are lots of other fighters who have had similar payment problems from Warren, even after Sports Network.

You either adhere to BBBoC rules or you don't promote, simple.

The bloke is an arsehole.

In my opinion, of course.

ironically Ricky probably has not earned £200k for all 4 of his matchroom fights combined...?????????????

£200k for 4 fights, I know for a fact that in one of those fights that Burns made more than double that.

I guess he means Crawford. Perhaps, if it was on HBO. They basically bought the title.

Who said anything about court? There have been several fighters who have complained about not being paid weeks and weeks after the 7 day deadline imposed by the BBBoC. Kevin Mitchell off the top of my head fairly recently.

Bellew being another.

I seriously don't understand why people make excuses for his practices. It isn't a rumour.

Is that the same Kevin Mitchell who when presented with a World title shot at West Ham at great expense by Frank was getting pissed up in Dagenham pubs instead of training? Even after fcuking that opportunity he gets another one shortly after against Burns?

If Frrank was struggling maybe Kevin should have showed him the same loyalty - he probably would have got another shot at home at the first opportunity Frrank could expertly guide him to one.
