Carl Froch vs prime James Toney
Re: Carl Froch vs prime James Toney
Just kinda mumbled. Seemed grumpy. He seemed to be on his own, from what I could tell. It was Halloween '98 so not exactly the best point in his career.

Fit, in shape, SM Toney would beat him easily by a wide UD. Froch would miss all day long and get countered constantly

Toney at his best too much of everything for Froch. Wide decision for the wily Lights Out.

Toney would have toyed with Froch, Carl wouldn't have been able to hurt him, or even hit him, and would have taken a brutal beating in the process

I can't see any way that Froch would beat James. I'd go with James big time in this. I think he'd win a Unanimous decision most likely, but a late stoppage isn't inconceivable either.
