Do you think they should have a rematch?

Coming off another loss Ricky Burns probably wouldn't mind. I think Katsidis probably doesn't need to be fighting any more really. He takes entirely too much punishment every time he fights anybody.

I think no he is just trying to cling on to his career and I also think Burns should retire.
The Scottish public will keep shelling out because they are loyal to each other. Eddie will wanna rinse that but Ricky has achieved a lot and should get out with his faculties IMO

I think there's plenty left in Ricky going by what he shows in the gym anyway
It's either a weight issue or lacking in confidence , both can be remedied, he's still the best LW in UK without a doubt

Ricky's starting to remind me of Rendall Munroe, whatever was there has just suddenly disappeared, be that the mental side of things, loss of confidence, the chin, loss of that 5% speed, who knows, but he's got to win a fight soon as he's looked a bit of a shambles in his last few fights.

Rendall was another fighter who did really well to get to a certain level with fairly limited ability but a ton of heart and got on a roll confidence and career-wise. When the wheels came off, they came off properly though and the moment had gone.

Billy, do you think he's scared of getting hit now after the jaw surgery? He looks a lot more tentative now to me and clings on for dear life everytime he gets hit. He can still take a shot well but something seems off.

I think this is a good question it must play on his mind a bit after having his jaw pinned?

columbo, I think that's one issue, it must make him think wait a minute here. Billy refers to the weight, surely you must know Billy, if he is struggling to make weight? It could be settling down, he has a young family now. Maybe he should visit a sports psychologist it works for Froch. Either way I hope he comes back and gives it another go.

Sports psychologist could be a good idea no-one knows what Burns' problem is but it seems like it must be mental. I don't personally believe he's scared about his jaw because he's been sparring with middleweights. I do think the move up could be a good idea he's so slight at lightweight and clearly lacks power. Also he's already been a two-weight world champ he's got to rebuild his career no matter what so why not go for three-weight world champ.
