I reckon brook is in for a horrible wake up call. The facts are that he has not been in with quality opposition and this is a serious step up for him miles away from home.

I like Kell Brook, he`s a fellow Yorkshireman, but I can be honest enough to call it how I see it and that is a brutal beating with the ref saving him mid way through the fight.

it's one of those fights i feel brook would of had a better chance of winning in sheffield home support and all it brings, i can see porter putting it on him and wearing brook down for a late stoppage but should be interesting and close for about six or so rounds though.

Its a strange fight to predict. There are alot of unknowns about brook at this level. We know what porter brings to the table.

I have watched brook since his pro debut and rarely seen a boxer with timing as good as his. Thats his big strength. We know he has a bit of power too. The first few rounds will be intriguing. Can porter land his big shot? Can brook get his measure early and just beat him to it. IMO both boxers are there to be hit, neithers defence is really that good.

Even though I think brook is a top draw fighter I think porter with home advantage may prove too much but I think kell goes over with a real chance.

No doubt there will be alot of "I told you so" after the fight whatever the outcome but I genuinely think that we have 2 big punchers in there and its pretty realistic that either has a very good chance.

It'll be a fantastic fight.

The first few rounds will definately decide this fight. If porter gets on top brooks got no chance IMO. But if brook gets into it early it could be a boxing masterclass

Kell is a much more live underdog in this one than the usual lambs to the slaughter Matchroom send over. It's still a big ask, but we don't really know how good either of them are yet.

I was expecting both fighters to be the same odds but brook is 2/1 to beat Porter (on coral) A risky member could always put a load on Brook to win and go out and watch the fight and have a holiday, tits up thou if Porter wins.

2/1 is decent odds, but personally I wouldn't dare risk more than £100 on Brook so the return wouldn't be worth it. Too many unknowns to put any more on Brook I reckon.

Brook is good but on european level,,

he will more than likely get stopped late and move up to 154 giving excuses about weight the same as all the other fighters that get beat,,

This is a 50/50 match, no underdog here, Porter has beaten two none punchers in his last two fights, he was able to bully them because of the lack of fire power coming back, that will not be the case with Brook, Porter has draw with Julio Diaz who Kieth Thurman stopped in 3 rounds, and Diaz has come up the weights, it's worth remembering that before Porter stopped a past his best Malinaggi, he had not stopped anyone for nearly 2 years and his last 2 fights were the highest level he has fought at, maybe Malignaggi's punch resistance had gone or Porter was on something, who knows ? Porter can't box has good as Brook, the jab of Brook will be the key here, though Porter could have more power and is very awkward, he could rough up Brook inside, it will be a good fight, either Brook will dominate on the front foot, with Jab or Porter will force him into a rough fight, inside, like Carson Jones did, I will just go for Brook, because of his better skills.

Completely agree. Brook won't be bullied, he's got a good team and he's mentally strong from what I've seen. He'll likely get shafted if it goes to points though, but I don't think it's going to go to points.
