as far as I'm concerned he is fighting who he should be fighting at this stage of his career. So far he has done everything and then some that has been expected of him, he's finished all of his fights against people who could have taken him the distance but he finished early and well done to him for that.

these next two fights give him experience, his next fight is against someone who took David price the distance so it'll be a good gauge of his level now and Sprott is a veteran like skelton who he should beat but its a test for him because he wont be a push over.

the way he is going I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him fighting Price or even Hughie Fury next year and then the British title not to long after

Which consensus is this, Horse? Could you provide a link?

Fury in the 1990s would be even more of a novelty act than he is now. That he's talked himself into contention without a significant win says everything about today's heavyweight division.
A Derek Williams could have beaten Tyson Fury.

I think you're doing Tyson Fury a big disservice there.

I don't even think we've seen the best of him yet; he's continued to improve with each fight and he's still only 25 years old.

I think he can be a genuine world champion and call me crazy, but amongst the current crop of heavyweights I think he'd give Klitschko the most trouble.

You think his last fight was an "improvement"? It was another chinup pub brawl between men with jiggly bodies.

He looked terrible in his last fight - I agree.

But there were mitigating circumstances there; the long time out of the ring, the mental letdown of the Haye fight falling through and two wasted training camps.

In the Johnson fight he performed very well I feel.

That was exactly my point fury is talking his way to a title shot and everyone is believing the garbage.

This is not unnatural you know, its a phenomenon.

If David Cameron came on the news this morning and said 'Good people of Great Britain, I have to inform you that aliens have landed in Skegness and they will be doing a live podcast tonight on BBC Radio Lincs' 90% of GB would believe him and tune in, 10% would have killed themselves.

The problem with Fury is that he's dishing out the hype with swear words. Believe you me on a Saturday night while im work in casualty, if a guy came in who was 6 foot tall and had a bit of muscle and said to me 'Listen muverfecker, im Mr Pink and im the fecking physco' of course im going to believe him. Then if another bloke came along and knocked the pudendum out I would say 'fcuk me, I believed in the hype'

20 years ago the top Heavyweights where making ground by fighting in the US and getting a name. Fury can find his way out of the county never mind the UK. He's garbage in terms of yesteryear. The only reason folk are paying attention is because hes using foul language and talks a good fight. This fight is meaningless. So what if he beats Chisora

I don't care about records Horse. Freddy Flintoff has a equally record as Fury, you cannot deny that!

He boxed in America last year against Cunningham live on national TV over there, shows how much you know about his career if you're complaining about him not going there. Times have changed, the top heavyweights are no longer in the US, so going over there isn't really worth it anymore.

You talk like Joshua's the fvcking second coming, then slag off Fury for not fighting anyone and say that Freddy Flintoff has an equal record to him. Hypocrisy, trolling and a lack of basic maths, since when was 22 equal to 1?

sorry expe

ok basic maths 22-0 =100%

1-0 = 100%

Seems to add up to me.

In that case Tyson Fury is greater than Wladimir Klitschko because 22-0 = 100% and 62-3 = 95%

No. Surely quality of opponents should be factored when judging records.
