Like I said, Murray was offered fights and turned them down. Why should Fwank let him fight on a bill being shown on his biggest rivals new internet thingy, in direct competition to the allegedly app, when he can put him on one of his own shows? Especially after Dave Coldwell switched it from his app to the fight pass thing, I doubt he was too happy about being told one thing, only for Dave to do another. If he knew it was going to be on the fight pass, he wouldn't have taken the fight in the first place, so why take it when it gets moved to it?

I thought you mentioned that the fights has was offered clashed with his wedding?! If that's the case then it's perfectly understandable for him to turn the fight down. In fact I'm surprised he was offered the fight to start with. Was he offered any others?

Is FW Joe's manager as well? If he is, then it's a real conflict of interests.

They did clash with his wedding so he couldn't fight, it was a response to the suggestion that Fwank was struggling to get him fights. I don't know if he was offered any others but I'd be surprised if he was only offered one.

I don't know who his manager is but from the sound of things it's definitely not FW, so that's two people that should have got in touch with Murray and told him the fight was off and neither did. Surprised John didn't tell him either, think he's training him at the moment.

I could say exactly the same back. If it was the other way round and Hearn agreed for one of his fighters to box on a small hall show, then the promoter got the show onto allegedly and Hearn pulled the fighter out and put him on his own show you wouldn't say a word. Dave Coldwell went behind Fwank's back, Fwank pulled his fighter out, now Dave's playing for the sympathy vote.

I can honestly say I would be disappointed with Hearn should that happen. I think that he would have let the fight take place.
Tell me what Warren is losing from it? Apart from just throwing a tantrum.
I think the feelings of the fighter has some sway with Eddie, believe it or not. Murray sounds devastated.

I don't blame Murray, if Fwank doesn't get him a decent fight I would happily slate him for it, but Paul Butler and Derry Mathews are both due to return in the next 2-3 months, along with Joe Selkirk and possibly Liam Smith, there's the makings of a decent show in Liverpool, I would expect Joe to be on that, or a show in Manchester if Fwank puts one on there, possibly the rearranged Fury-Chisora fight. The other option would be to put him in with Mitchell Smith for the English title, possibly after a tune up on one of the shows I mentioned.

I only know of one fight he was offered and that was from Maley, he may well have been offered others at some stage, but I'm not going to claim he was when I don't know for sure. He puts on a show a month, that's more than enough for the stable he has, I don't see how he can be blamed for Murray not fighting when he's been offered fights. As I said, I expect Murray to box in September or October, either in or close to Manchester, or against Mitchell Smith in London, so he can still get him a fight and a better one than an 8 rounder on an undercard away from home.
