Re: 2014 Ringside World Championships
Do you have to wear open faced headgear at Ringside?
Re: 2014 Ringside World Championships
This competition is huge-there are 301 bouts today in six rings with hundreds of boxers not even boxing today.Good luck to the organisers.Comp starts/started 11AM local time.
Re: 2014 Ringside World Championships
This the biggest Amatuer tournament on the planet. I was there in 2010 and even with 6 rings they had bouts all day till 9pm. The only drawback is that with 1500 fighters , officials can not watch everything and cheaters have plenty of opportunities to cheat.

Gabriel flores @ 125, this kid is the real deal. He beat the junior olympic champ Leon Lawson today. Flores is still only 13. He is definetly one to watch!
Re: 2014 Ringside World Championships
He had beaten Lawson earlier in the year but he is not the only one to impress eg Israel Ortiz has beaten Fidencio Hernandez and Harley Mederos has defeated Eric Puente recently.Lorenzo Simpson and Kavon Robertson are others.
This is a very talented age group
