I think the Steward blueprint (as pointed out) and the rise and rise of the giant HW has seen the decline of the swarmer in the division. I'm trying to think of one currently active at the top level...

You have to be physically fit to swarm. Heavyweights are no longer fit. They are either weighted down by fat or muscle.

I was surprised when I started watching Holmes fights a few years ago. Most of them were pretty solid fights. Not at all boring. There were stinkers but I enjoyed most of them.

How much more exciting would his reign have been if he'd been the undisputed champ? Think of fights against Dokes, Page, Thomas, & Coetzee.
