Weigh in results

Post by jameswilson »

Fury - 257lbs

Ustinov - 285lbs

Couldn't hear the Ustinov weight that clearly.

Both look in good shape, knowing their respective physiques

Ustinov has only once weighed lighter in his career - back in 2005 on his pro debut!

Might have to listen in closely and check that when it gets a bit quieter in the office.

Seems strange that he would be 15lbs lighter than his usual weight.

Ustinov was actually 280lbs and 5oz, so 280lbs really.

This is a career lightest for Ustinov (exclduing his first fight), and for him, he looked in great shape. Tyson ont he other hand looked ok, but still 12lbs heavier than when he fought Rogan and Maddelone, when he was at his peak weight IMO.

Any thoughts on this?

both look in good shape for sure. Fury's size is really evident next to Ustinov and 18 5 is about perfect weight for Fury he has looked a bit thin at slightly under 18 stone-how many heavies can you say that about?

That's what I heard when he was on the scale but when they announced it at the end they seemed to be saying 20stone 5lbs. The thing is there was a thing a few years back where I think Carl Bakers weight was jumping up and down a lot from fight to fight because he weighed higher than the limit of the scales. I'm not sure if that has happened here with Ustinov as both 280 and 285 are fairly round numbers.

He's just been in camp with Del and it's boiling hot. A stone ain't much at those weights in these temperatures.

That's poor if it is! I can just imagine Frank-Warren rushing into the Household wares section of an ASDA in Manchester at midday and picking up some £10 scales for the weigh in. :box:

Billy Jo Saunders had the towel up straight away. Hope he's managed his weight properly or it could be a tough night.
