Pretty sure it was his mother that died. His mum and dad crashed their car on the way to see Geoff's newborn kid, mum died and dad was severely injured.

Cancelling it after tonight, sick of the Warren nonsense, I rarely stay up late for the other cards and end up catching repeats when I already know the result. We're still getting about 8 live fights tonight, don't be such a baby. allegedly is easily worth 12 quid a month for any boxing fan. In the last month alone we've had a decent mid-week domestic card, plus Canelo vs Lara and Crawford vs Gamboa. Tonight should be a good night of boxing regardless of the headliner being cancelled.

What has ever made you guys think Fury is frightened ?
Did he look frightened on the scale ?
Tyson has fought fat,unfit ,out of shape and at short notice , he's not scared whether in shape or not, i know these people and their not scared to face anyone, he's never pulled out , and lets remember he needs to get back in there .

I remember the last time he was in line to fight someone of similar size and a noted dig, and he vacated his belts to avoid him.

It's a weak reason for a pull out, can anyone with a real job on here imagine having the week off because your uncle or cousin is in the hospital? I'd guess it's either financially motivated or Ustinov looks a bit too dangerous for a fight on a few days notice (I honestly wouldn't have blamed him for cancelling instead of accepting the late replacement who's so different to Chisora, but he did).

I must admit that occurred to me, I remember one of his kids was poorly in hospital a while back as well. Around his depression, binging period. They did a piece about it on 5. I really really really hope its nothing like that.

I'd read absolutely nothing into that, it's typical Fury talk. Whatever happened to make him pull out has clearly happened suddenly overnight.
