Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum heavyweight rankings
Chagaev up to 10 because Solis, Arreola, and TT either recently lost or haven't done anything.
Jennings up to 7 because he did better against Perez than takam did.

Perez is better than Solis. Solis is garbage and should quit boxing.Horse wrote:Perez is garbage. Why are people voting for him to enter?

I'd like to see Perez vs Solis. Who can be the fattest and laziest?ttornado wrote:Perez is better than Solis. Solis is garbage and should quit boxing.
I do agree that Perez is better than Solis, but neither should be in the top 15.

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum heavyweight rankings
Povetkin remains number 2
Chagaev #15
Jennings #13
The rest unranked.
I have to admit this is a pathetic bunch(excluding Povetkin) that we had to reconfigure

Topic A - How are the rankings affected by Ruslan Chagaev's MD12 win over Fres Oquendo?
Chagaev goes up to #14, ahead of Odlanier Solis, mainly by default because Solis hasn't won a fight in awhile. Oquendo remains unranked.
Topic B - How are the rankings affected by Bryant Jennings' SD12 win over Mike Perez?
Jennings down to #10 below Wilder, because he wasn't impressive. Perez remains unranked.

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum heavyweight rankings
Suggestion:
Tyson Fury should be dropped down a few notches because of his pathetic fight day duck of a heavyweight who is not even in the top 15.

Makes a hell of a lot more sense than dropping Arreola like the WBC did for cursing. Fury should be dropped for inactivity and not showing up after a contract is signed.
The top ratings should go to fighters who fight. I know that is frowned upon in modern times regarding boxing.

Opinion: Any Top Ten list including Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora is pure rubbish... May as well put Vitali Klitschko back @ #1...Freedom2013 wrote:Suggestion:

It amazes me that as great as Cuban amateurs are, when they make it out of Cuba and turn pro almost all of them totally lose their discipline and turn into doughboys.

Probably because they are not use to all their new found freedoms and they "don't have to" listen to what others tell them to do anymore. They probably should listen to their handlers, but I'm sure their ego gets in the way.Tony1244 wrote:Horse wrote:I'd like to see Perez vs Solis. This part of the quote, "I am great. Nobody can beat me, so why train!?," sounds verbatim Wifredo Benitez, who was from Puerto Rico.
Who said that quote? I guess Solis.

I don't think Jennings is more pathetic than Povetkin. At least he didn't duck his opponents shamelessly for 4+ years as if they had a plaguetiny_acres wrote:I have to admit this is a pathetic bunch(excluding Povetkin) that we had to reconfigure

I'm no Chagaev fan but why is he out? He won his last fight against someone in the top 50 while almost everyone else hasn't even fight.
