Doncaster Market

Post by John »

I nipped down today to get a bit of foam for a pad that had seen better days. The old dear (in her 70's) on the stall asked what it was and I explained it was for boxing training. She then told me she had watched the boxing on the telly last weekend "That Audrey Harrision, what a Mary Jane, I could have beaten him". And for a split second I caught myself wondering if she could have.

HEY JOHN - Are you john shepard who works for SN, if so why has your boss/company not replied to my e-mail I sent over a week ago about the farce that was security at excel last saturday??

or do you only post when you feel 'you' have been wronged??

very shoddy for a company the size of SN

I'd imagine john would take it as an honest mistake mate, like you say honest mistake and SN's usual promt response.

Just goes to show you the difference between boxing then versus now when an old dear (who is old enough to remember boxing when it was a more repected sport and fighters were indeed "fighters") can make statements like that...

I wonder if she just might have, beat him that is!

it's no better or worst than most places, really. lot of happy slappers / hoodies down the edlington area, lot of whites/kossovans hatred in hexthorpe, lot of crack whores around church view, etc. no worst than some areas in nottingham. good to be near sheffield, where boxing's kickstarted somewhat...

Sorry if my post with "Big Mistake" made it sound like you were going to be in trouble, I meant it that is was a big mistake to assume John only posts when he is "wronged". Didn't mean it as "your in trouble, son". Cause your not. Not in the slightest - simple error.

Scared to go out in Donny.

I grew up there. Now on missionary work in Suffolk trying to teach the tractor driving yokals that Green King does not represent good beer and it is certainly not ok to charge 2.40 for a pint of bitter.

Nor is £1.50 a satisfactory price for a game of pool, and no I dont care if the cloth is red.

Etc, etc, repeat - fade.

last footie match i went to was 1997, so probably not. never know, i might see you at the next Hobson show in Sheff/Rotherham. Hopefully they can get Glengoffe over again to fight Woods, he's the top contender...
