DOESN'T TAKE A MAD SCIENTIST TO FIGURE THE RESULTS OF NO HEAD GEARS ONLY AIBA HAD NO BRAINS ON THIS DECISION. I WROTE BEFORE ON THIS DUMB DECISION. YOUNG ADULTS AND YOUNGER FIGHTERS NEED PROTECTION SUCH AS HEAD GEAR. SCARS ARE FOR EVER AND WHEN U DO 50 TO SOME HAVE 400 AMATEUR FIGHTS BY THE TIME THEY GET TO PROS THEY WILL END WITH SCAR TISSUE AND THOSE CUTS WILL SOONER OR LATER OPEN VERY EASY.

Just common sense. No headgear equal s more damage to the fighters

Your not getting paid so why put your body through that kinda stress very unethical but eh it is entertaining.

You remember incorrectly , I have never been for the no headgear rule. I am for allowing pros in the Olympics, think it would bring tremendous visibility to the sport. But Sternly against the no headgear ruleABC BOXING wrote:SCALLUM I THINK I REMEMBER YOU BEING ALL AIBA 100% WHEN THIS ISSUE CAME UP BEFORE? So you'd like to see Manny Pacquio beating the living daylights out of a 20 bout Amateur?
Re: AIBA to review headguard rule as cuts prevail in Glasgow
At that weight no fighter with 20 bouts is gonna make it near the Olympics. Who is to say sum of the young, strong kids couldn't out point Manny over 3 rounds? Few year ago saw a 17 yr old Amatuer out class Manny in sparring lol

Was that Jose Benavidez? I doubt Manny would beat Roniel Iglesias in a 3 round bout today. The Manny of a few years ago probably would of course.scallum wrote:At that weight no fighter with 20 bouts is gonna make it near the Olympics. Yeah, which 20 bout amateur would qualify for the Olympics with those tough qualifiers. There are at least 10 or more boxers in each weight class who have more than 150 bouts.Tarquin Tarpaulin IV wrote:So you'd like to see Manny Pacquio beating the living daylights out of a 20 bout Amateur?

So which current US team amateur would beat a leading pro?
