He has a history of this. Check out Miranda-Despaigne for an example.

No kidding! Another horrible job officiating. The judging in the first fight, and the refereeing in this fight. Chaves was DQ'd for...um...yeah nobody really knows.

The foul was he was winning or making it too close for comfort and Vic gave him the fight, Top Rank needs investigated again, can't believe this $hit.

And Chaves did NOT tackle him in the 8th. Rios was boring into him and Chaves ended up on top when they fell off-balance.

The final sequence looked like Rios was showing his forearms in Chaves's face.

Every fornicating week! These officials are destroying the sport they are supposed to be officiating in. Pathetic.

chaves was extremely dirty. the headbutts and holding was ridiculous.
saying he didn't do anything wrong is a joke. chaves was clearly the better
boxer on the outside and he had a decent chance of getting a decision
so he was a serious idiot for the headlocks, butting, holding, tackling etc.

Judges need to be DQ'd too for outcomes like this or outrageous scores. Mothef4ckers spoil the sport which has enough problems without them.

This clown ruined the fight. He literally dq him for nothing there was no foul he just listened to rios who threw a tantrum because he was getting frustrated.

Chaves was very dirty tonight there were alotta instances on the inside where chaves was ramming his head into rios head and holding like a muthafucker.

I seen the DQ coming the holding was just too fuucking much.

That was about as incompetent as officiating can possibly get. Drac lost control early in the fight. BOTH fighters were using rough tactics. The DQ has to be one of the most horrendous calls in recent memory. It was a good rough and tough Saturday night scrap and instead of letting the fighters decide who won, Drac chose to heed the complaints of Rios and DQ'd Chaves. Absolutely HORRENDOUS call. Drac should be DQ'd from officiating again.

Chaves ends up winning a decision in that fight with basically any other ref on the planet.

I didn't like how often rios was getting tagged hard with that right hand.

Rios needs to roll his head with those shots like he use to cuz taken them flush can make a career shorter than expected.

I think Vic got nervous when Rios started complaining and didn't know what to do other than disqualify. I didn't see any markings on Rios face from the eye pokes but it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Also, they need to get someone in there that can speak the languages of the fighters. Its absurd that vic was talking to chaves in English.

Rios looked good against awful little 135 lb guys who couldn't stand up to his aggression. Against bigger men he is exposed.
