I think you cannot go on records alone-there are many fighters with great records-look at Ricardo Lopez as an example. But for me personality, charisma, entertainment-men who transcended the sport-are also big factors for me. I dont care who had a better resume than SRR (although at his peak hard to find any better) the man had charisma. He was pure entertainment, vicious, ruthless.

Then for me again taking the above into account Roberto Duran would be a close second.

I think Robinson actually has the best "resume" though a few others like Greb and Langford are close. (A lot depends on how much consideration you give to Newspaper Decisions.) Armstrong, Ali, and Charles are also in the neighborhood.
