With the size of him, tats and the baldhead some people could think he maybe a Nazi skinhead. But he comes over as a gentleman fighter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgNuMxGVgJE Who is very knowledgeable and honest with his opinions.

Lucas is a cracking guy.

He recently answered some fans questions without any problems. I kinda sprung this on him, but he was more than happy to do it.

A real insight into what a guy he is came in Sheffield earlier this year when he boxed Bahoeli. He had a terrible cut that needed 13 stitches. Because it was so bad, he was told that he'd have to go to hospital. A guy came to changing rooms to take him, but Lucas wouldn't go until all the journos and fans that wanted to meet him had come in and seen him.

He is a good guy, quite lucid and very approachable. He knows his limitations, admits them & is trying to improve which is a breath of fresh air in this current gen.
His problem is a complete lack of boxing in his teens and early 20's so he has no foundation or skill set when fatigue sets in. He has a short spell in MMA and the rest of his "combat" came working the doors but he makes up for his lack of skills with balls of steel and plenty of heart.
I for one accept his lack of skill but root for the fella whenever he fights as he is an honest, straight talking pro who always has a puncher's chance & will always give it his all.

Lucas is a pretty smart guy and that should help him learn more quickly he has come a very long way in a short time and may have significant improvement left in him. My big worry is lack of quality sparring in Oz and given his rawness he desperately needs this.
