I think Hopkins will win a close decision because of his great boxing skills, but it won't be an easy fight for him (not like vs. Shumenov and Murat).

Hopkins has never come close to being stopped. It's nearly impossible to hit him flush.

B-Hop is not human, he's an alien from the Rigel star system.

Hopkins has faced all different kinds of punchers in the past. He can be outworked, but he has outstanding defensive skills. I'd be shocked if he were KOed - it's unlikely to happen.

Hopkins has had a fantastic career and yes hes beaten younger, stronger opponents in the past but yes he is 49 almost 50 father time might just be the end of him in Nov. Kovalev is a dangerous puncher and Hopkins may just go one rodeo to far!

B-Hop has quite a bag of tricks though, and the ref and judges will likely help him.

Judges can't help to repair his broken ribs or hurting liver.

Kovalev needs to stay out of clinches which will help him avoid head butts, and getting punched on hip, and then Kovalev needs to be sure he has enough in the tank for 12 rounds, and when punching needs to not always aim for head but deliver punches to arms and shoulders of Bernard, if these things are done Kovalev stands a good chance of winning.
Kovalev needs to bring a good cutman, I believe Don Turner is his cut man not sure how good Don is at stopping cuts.
Bernard says he wants to take Kovalev's soul away.. ha ha ha.
I just hope Bernard doesn't get hurt..

If Kovalev is too much for him Hopkins will bail out, otherwise he'll win on points.

How can he win on points with his very low work rate ? His only chance is to hypnotize Kovalev so that Sergey doesn't throw. Basically, Hopkins can only win if he is a real Alien.

For the viewer this fight will absolutely suck. Don't expect any action except for flurries from Sergei and flurries back from Hopkins.

Bernard Hopkins will stink out he joint on his way to a decision loss. He just knows how to make ugly and close fights. He's fifty fvcking years old. What more do you expect of this guy. He was slurring is words ten years ago. May the winner land hard, solid, and repeated shots on the loser. Come what may.
