Anyone have a more complete record? You know, with named opponents and losses included just for kicks?

We all know about the his close call with Solis as well as the Twite catastrophe. There was also the points defeat to America's Michael Simms if I remember correctly. The latter seemingly a case of veteran vs youngster.

That's 3 of his definite losses, who are the other 4 to get one over on Haye and in what fashion?

We also know that Haye defeated Johansen as an amateur, who else did he face who now campaigns as a pro?

Given the see-saw "one minute brilliant - one minute brittle" nature of Haye's progression any insight would be welcome.

Reading snippets from the spanky new site, it seems that Haye's an open book in terms of discussing his triumphs as well as his tribulations, I'm sure he wouldn't mind you filling us in (Elliot).

While I'm on the subject of Haye's losses, can anyone shed some light on the various sparring tales that have done the rounds? In particular the heavies he sparred in the run-up to the subsequently cancelled Hobson clash. Injury withstanding how badly did it really go for Haye? There's also the rumour that he was floored by David Dolan in a sparring session. Is there any truth to that?

He probaly floored Dolan not the other way around, either that or Haye had his Shoe laces undone!

While Dolan is a competive Amateur i cant think he would make good sparing partner for Pro's. Not at this stage in his career or back then.

The rumour dates way back, possibly early in his pro career or even before turning pro.

It's completely unsubstantiated and even if it were true, it's not as though it's a big deal. Better to make a mistake in sparring than in actual competition.

I see Anderson's 2 fights into his pro career. He's listed as being close to his mid thirties which may explain a bit about that loss.

Who's Andreas Gustafsson? He's not listed as a pro, anyone heard of him?

That's 5 out of the 7 defeats accounted for, only 2 of which are notable. What about notable victories?

Gustafsson was a top amateur, he was a European bronze medallist in 2000, losing to Sultan Ibragimov. He didn't qualify for Athens and quit boxing.

David Haye lost to Russian Ibragim Akajew in the Multi Nations in 98

Gustavsson was Swenden's national champion in 2002, 2003 & 2004.

As far as im aware Haye beat Orlanda Anderson in a close fight. Also, on one of Hayes Amateur fights as a teenager, before he fought internationally he said he had 3 losses, two disqualifications and one robbery decision. Another win to add to his record is a guy called Roman cumchuck who haye knocked out 6 of his teeth.

I asked David Haye if his record is 93-10 and he said thats round about his record. But he said he never lost to nor has heard of anyone called ibragim akajew. His actual words were....thats about right (who is akajew,never heard of him).
And i also asked about Orlando Anderson, he said he beat him in the liverpool multi nations semi final then lost the rematch shortly after in a england vs usa tournament. The guy was much more experienced.

So he lost to the following
2 disqualification losses (one to Maiwand Kaiwan in Germany) and a robbery decision to an unknown teenager inside his first 13 fights. He said on a interview before he ko'd Peter Haymer that he was 10-3 with 9 ko's, 8 in the first round, 1in the second and a decision win.
then he also lost to

So his record was around 93-9

Again, undisputed cruiserweight world champion and heavyweight belt holder. Calling him a disappointment or only a talker as a pro is completely absurd, his loss to Wlad notwithstanding.

David Haye lost by Walk Over to Ibragim Akayev (Russia) at the final of the 1998 Liverpool Multi nations. Of course that don't count to his record. He also lost on a Walk Over at the 2002 Commonwealth Games to Jason Douglas, Canada in his last amateur appearance.

No, they are not related. Yeah, Alexander was pretty good and wanted to continue having amateur fights but had to stop when he signed with the UFC.

I have filmed most of the London ABA shows since 1992, and filmed David a lot!!, he lost on a double disq in the schoolboys or Junior ABAs, I think it was at Milton Keynes, I would have to find the tape, as there are a few of David early Am bout on youtube, they were mostly filmed by me,
