Drawing comparisons here. Andre ward is clearly by far the best super middle weight? ok he hasnt fought everyone but he fought everyone that currently counts. if he is the supreme number one of the division is that necessarily the best place to be? Froch who most would consider a fairly clear number 2? well he just filled wembly stadium with his last fight. how did number one andre ward do in his last fight?
what might happen if golovkin keeps showing such clear dominance over middleweight? will it be a repeat of super middle? will the closer matched number 2 spot be more watched? personally i hope golovkin clears out the division and stays there for long enough for there to be no question who is the greatest middleweight of this era then does the same at super middle then light heavy. annnnddddd if he was awesome enough to repeat what jones jr did them move up to heavy and have a crack. who do you consider the contenders for the number two spot? I think its up for grabs between soliman, geale and quinlin. i think geale beats all the top guys atm. i know cotto is supposed to be lineal champ but hey he is only just a middleweight of recent showing. i think all three of the above mention guys take him and win. cotto looked great against a clearly fading champion who also had a shit night?
