The only exception his he seemed to avoid fighting Kostya Tszyu and Manny Pacquaio when they were at there peaks!
Hatton, Cotto, Marquez were all past their peak, Hatton and Marquez were made to fight above their weight class.
Get with the programme.
What program you want me to get with, Marquez went on to KO Manny 3 years after he fought Floyd and lost on SD to Bradley 4 years after Floyd fight. That is some decline of a fighter that is!!!
Oh and Cotto just beat a Martinez who 2 year ago people were raving about as one of P4P best!!
You claimed they were at their peak when Floyd fought them, i refuted this as i firmly believe you are wrong on that point.
Other obvious standouts are Mosley and De La Hoya, you would have to be bonkers to claim they were at their peak when Floyd fought them.
Mayweather has an amazing resume, thats indesputable, but it lacks elite fighters in their prime. He should have fought Tyszu, Hatton, Cotto at 140lbs, Margarito, Williams at 147lbs, he should have fought Mosley much earlier, he should have fought Pacquiao when it mattered, he should not have come in heavy or pulled certain oponents out of their weight class to swing the balance in his favour.
Almost every time Mayweather has fought he could have been fighting someone deemed better by the fans, it has been the story of his career.
