I wonder how much his bout AND the FS1 show on Friday cost to put together...the same as Danny Garcia's for the Salka fight maybe?

Stay out of this division Al Haymon. WBA champ Budler wants a crack at Rodriguez.

The punch-stat numbers must have set or come close to setting a record. I've never seen more punches thrown or connected in a fight. Their stamina was otherworldly. Thought Rodriguez clearly won with bigger punches but Takayama kept pouring it on until the final bell :box:

How good does Roman Gonzalez look now?

Estrada and now Rodriguez have both gone on to become unified champions after losing to him.

He also beat Takayama and Hirales.

If he beats Yaegashi in September, which I think he will, he'll have one of the best resumes in the sport.

Don't forget his other wins over he likes Niida as well.

It's like when you go through Wonjongkam's record and see something like 8 former or future world champions on it.

The little guys stay busy, they get paid peanuts so fight regularly yet it seems they are castigated for fighting stay busy fights to collect a pay day, add to their skills and stay busy.

You can scratch the "Contender", this was the FOTY. Easily one of the best I have ever seen.

I can see that, that one had more drama to it.

Sh!t EVERYONE is staying out of the 105lb division. Can't think of anyone who garnered any following @ 105 recently outside of Ricardo Lopez & thats been awhile. Respect if these 105 top guys do fight each other though.

105 at the moment looks insanely interesting with the follow bouts either confirmed or "expected":
Budler Vs Zhong
Novoa Vs Wanheng
Buitrago Vs Freshmart

Also, if Gonzalez beats Yaegashi, he'll be a three weight champion.
