So NOW Ward wants to leave USA?

I'm glad he finally leaves USA, but why didn't he want to leave USA to fight a still-active Froch who had just defeated Kessler?

Honestly, I think Kessler has a chance to KO Ward here, Ward won't be allowed to headbutt and hold this time, and if he has to rely on his speed and skills to avoid Kessler's punches, I think he could tire very quickly.

I hope Kessler wins. Cus if Kessler wins, this SMW era will be remembered as an ATG SMW era in which the best fought the best, Froch, Kessler, Ward.

Ward will lose if he fights outside the USA.

There's an irrational hate for Andre Ward that exceeds normal levels of hate. Andre Ward never behaves like an asshole. He is more professional than 99% of the boxers in the game. Yet, he gets as much heat on this forum as idiots like Floyd and Broner.

If Andre Ward was from England, and fought the exact same way, he'd be a national icon and topics like this would be deleted within 5 minutes.

I hope the better fighter wins.
I hope the fighter who deserves to win gets the victory.

If Ward wins, this SMW era would be diminished? Your whole point reeks of some unresolved hate.

Andre Ward is a diva, always wanna fight in his backyard as if he was Floyd Mayweather, lol.
Ward is the best boxer in SMW and I think he can beat Kessler in Denmark and Froch in England. I just dislike his lack of balls to travel to foreign territory.

Cant get too excited about this one..... Kessler looked well past his best in the rematch with Froch and has been sat on the shelf a while now. A prime Kessler (~2006) fighting in front of a home crowd would've struggled with Ward, this version really doesn't have a chance.

Well, at least Ward is fighting someone. It may end up closer than the first if they keep Ward from using his head this time. Even with the head butts in the first fight, Ward was clearly ahead though.

You guys forget how some boxers crumble overseas... Ward wouldn't feel safe behind the referee or his holding or headbutts this time, he would have only his skills and he would be forced to engage, as he won't win a decision by fighting a boring fight in Denmark.

But yes, Kessler is past it now, sad that Ward's balls grew out so late...

Just a guess, but I think Ward will be ok only using his skills vs Kessler. :OhYes: There is a reason he is a top pfp guy. Ward would beat Kessler no matter what the venue is. I was very critical of the headbutts in the first fight, but lets be honest, the fight was not extremely close.

He'd also not get any credit from guys like you because he hadn't fought in the US yet.

Interesting point. Andre is Mr. Respectful which is supposedly the thing that people wanna see or that they seem to suggest they wanna see when bitching about Floyd's & Adrien's lifestyles & persona's. Yet Andre seems to be one of the most hated guys in the sport. Don't make any sense. Seems like you need to be somewhere in the middle of Mr. Respectful & Mr. Asshole to really be respected.

I don't care about Ward's personality, I just don't like that he never travels and that he can't avoid problems that forces him to pause his career constantly, lol.

I've never understood the hoopla about his nickname, but than again I'm a savage immoral non-believer. From my understanding of religion we're all supposedly the sons & daughters of god so nicknaming yourself the "Son of God" isn't some sort of higher status in god's entourage or anything.

Can't argue with the dullness part cuz I don't find Andre the most exciting guy myself, but I do appreciate his skills & I don't see him in a Carlos Molina level of boring type way.

I hope he wins too, but his chances are not good. Mikkel is now well past his prime, he would have had a better chance a couple of years ago.

He's been inactive for over a year and looked faded in his last fight.

No one is the son of God.

God created Adam from nothing.
Eve from a man.
Jesus from a woman.
Neither of them are his children.

God is supreme, above anything we could possibly imagine, there is nothing like him. He got no children.

Your weekend is ruined every time Ward wins.

I'm just happy he'll get to beat up on another Euro-Bum.

Yea that is pretty annoying to me too, I loved watching Evander fight, but hated listening to him talk for that reason. A lot of guys do that unfortunately. I can't watch awards shows anymore cuz it reminded me of going to church with all the praising & thanking god that was going on.

why do you choose to call it hatred. I dont see any ! ?

What i do see is an understandable lack of admiration and respect of a sportsman, whom constantly and thru his entire carreer has used downright dirty tactics that constantly borders cheating, only fought at home, using home ref. etc., fighting fights where he has not ben dq´ed where almost everybody else would have. Ward is an amazing boxer, its just a shame for him that he hasnt realized that none, except a few homeboy fans dig him, due to his style. Fighting like a douchebag, talking like a girl, hiding at your ma´s doesnt get you any fans... or money and using the SOG name, no matter have skilled one might be, not many will ever dig you.

i met holyfield at a evening with evander holyfield dinner and i have to say he never did "the lord gave me the strength" speech rather he talked about his mum a lot.
what cracks me up is do some boxers really believe that if there's a god he would help one boxer beat the crap out of another boxer .....that doesn't sound very godly to me
