Mercado by KO. As big a puncher but taller and longer than Tommy, and more durable as well.

Pulled up Mercado's fight with Earnie Shavers on youtube. Didn't do a very deep search, but it was the only one I saw on the surface. Dude looked like he could actually move around pretty well for a big guy and had a little bit of boxing skill. His power speaks for itself. I've never seen his fights with Leon Spinks, Mike Weaver or John Tate, but those guys were fairly green and made short work of him. Not sure who I'd go with between him and the Duke. I grew up watching Tommy so I've seen a lot more of him. I guess I'd have to ask weather or not Mercado was suseptible to left hooks? If he was, then that might give Morrison the edge. If not, then I might have to go with Mercado. Someone gave Mercado the edge in durability and I'm not so sure. Both men were stopped early in fights and weren't exactly poster boys for having a granite chin. Tommy rose off the deck more than once to win fights with a decent hitter.. Bernado did once against an aged Shavers.. Seems like a pretty even money fight from what I can see.
