Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
Sakio Bika deserved to win the first fight. He had points deducted for LEGAL punches to Anthony Dirrell's stomach.
It could have been a TKO win at one point when Dirrell went down from a body punch and probably would not have beaten the count.
Bika was also done wrong by the home ref in his fight with Andre Ward. He was repeatedly chastised, but the shady ref said nothing to Ward and let him get away with many fouls.

I'm not sure.ReggieDiggs wrote:Who's the ref?
Since it's in California, there's a good chance it will be Jack Reiss.
Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
I didnt see anything wrong with last fight..he will get knocked out so you will have nothing to worry about
Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
that round he went down, Bika hit him with about 10 low blows..he even switched sides on where hed hit low based on the position of the ref..

Of course he wont be fair, he's fighting an american! A black american!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Freedom2013 wrote:Sakio Bika deserved to win the first fight. He had points deducted for LEGAL punches to Anthony Dirrell's stomach.

Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
I think Dirrels shorter more compact shots will knock Bika out..he needed the first fight to get used to the stage..I see this ending decisively..
Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
Yeah I dont see that at all but it sure sounds awesome. Wrong, but awesome.bigznyc wrote:I think Dirrels shorter more compact shots will knock Bika out..he needed the first fight to get used to the stage..I see this ending decisively..
Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
I thought Dirrell won the first fight and has a good chance at getting the stoppage tonight. Bika is a rough and dirty fighter at times, so this topic being started is laughable. Actually, the current scene as of late is laughable honestly.....
Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
Why would anyone think there's a "good chance" for him to knock out Bika? A "chance"? Sure. A "good one"? Absolutely, positively not. Silly commentary.armageto wrote:I thought Dirrell won the first fight and has a good chance at getting the stoppage tonight. Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
What's hilarious is Freedom asking for the ref to be fair to Bika's bullying tactics because he's fighting a black american. Yet when black Americans like Ward and Hopkins use dirty tactics he'll start a thread to blame the ref for letting them use those tactics.
F'n hilarious.

I think Bika has a lot of wear and tear on him. He was dropped and hurt in the first fight. Dirrell knows the fighting on a big stage feeling now. He might feel the need to get Bika out of there due to the first fight, plus always the chance Bika gets DQ'd. Is in 100% sure to happen, of course not. I do feel there is a good chance though of Dirrell knowing what he has in front of him after their first fight, and ending this before it goes to the judges...

Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
It has nothing to do with anyone being black.diddy wrote:What's hilarious is Freedom asking for the ref to be fair to Bika's bullying tactics because he's fighting a black american. When someone questions the referees anywhere else in the world for favoring the home fighter, people like verballistic consider it to be fine. If they see a shady ref being unfair to an American boxers in Australia, the UK, Russia, Germany or anywhere else they will go on and on about it, but no one calls them bigots or KKK members.
Yet when I question an American referee, it's like I've committed blasphemy!
But in REALITY, there's no country immune from home officiating. The US really is no better than the UK, Australia, Germany or anywhere else.
One of these days, a site admin here is going to look through your post history and see that EVERY POST you make in this forum is directed toward me.licktheballs wrote:Great post. They need to ban this guy
I'm sure they'll find that VERY strange. Perhaps they'll decide to ban YOU.
Re: Will the referee be fair to Sakio Bika tonight?
No. It is impossible for a judge or referee to be fair outside of Russia.

No, there are fair & honest refs everywhere, and there seem to be some shady ones everywhere too.giacomino wrote:No. It is impossible for a judge or referee to be fair outside of America.
In this forum, because of "verballistic" and "licktheballs". Both those posters would be probably be banned from other sites, harassing another posters is against the rules everywhere.davie wrote:As soon as I saw the OP, I wondered how long this would take to turn into a race row
I made exactly the same thread on two other websites (ESB and B'Scene) and I didn't encounter the hostility and accusations I received here.
Do you find it strange that ALL of "licktheballs" posts here are directed toward me?
