No, there are fair & honest refs everywhere, and there seem to be some shady ones everywhere too.

In this forum, because of "verballistic" and "licktheballs". Both those posters would be probably be banned from other sites, harassing another posters is against the rules everywhere.

I made exactly the same thread on two other websites (ESB and B'Scene) and I didn't encounter the hostility and accusations I received here.

Do you find it strange that ALL of "licktheballs" posts here are directed toward me?

Juveniles change the words others post because they have no other response.

With Jack Reiss as the ref, Sakio Bika is fighting two men in there tonight.

Reiss keeps admonishing Bika and even physically shoving him back. He reminds me of the home ref who worked Ottke-Reid.

The point deduction for a legal punch on the beltline was typical Jack Reiss.

Credit to Al Bernstein for being FAIR in his commentary and critical of what Reiss is doing.

It has nothing to do with anyone being black.

When someone questions the referees anywhere else in the world for favoring the home fighter, people like verballistic consider it to be fine. If they see a shady ref being unfair to an American boxers in Australia, the UK, Russia, Germany or anywhere else they will go on and on about it, but no one calls them bigots or KKK members.

Yet when I question an American referee, it's like I've committed blasphemy!

But in REALITY, there's no country immune from home officiating. The US really is no better than the UK, Australia, Germany or anywhere else.

One of these days, a site admin here is going to look through your post history and see that EVERY POST you make in this forum is directed toward me.

I'm sure they'll find that VERY strange. Perhaps they'll decide to ban YOU.
Yeah right, don't forget I read your stuff over at that so called "Protestant" website as you called it. You're a fake and a phony, Bika is just like Maidana, he can't win without his roughhousing tactics.

I thought Reiss did a good job, keeping both guys in check. He called it tight both ways, and kept a known dirty fighter in Bika in line, in a bout with a lot of animosity....

I thought he was too officious, though admittedly it can be hard to keep a balance between controlling a dirty bout and not being too involved.

Bika is one of those guys that will retire having never been knocked out.

Yes, he's tough as they come.

I'd like to see him fight Froch, DeGale, Groves, Abraham or Kessler before he retires.
