Get in, I had it close but the 117-111 was a bit wide.

Top stuff Kell!!

No argument.

Kell showed he can box to a gameplan at world level and execute it.

Absolutely buzzing here!

Ugly ass fight. Wouldnt wanna watch it again. Porter's style is not attractive to watch. I think any fighter would struggle with that to be honest.

Unbelievable, what an amazing result!

Kell just kept coming on stronger but I was convinced he'd run out of rounds, and then then Yank judges gave him the decision!

Great fight. Loved it.

Just lost 20 quid to a work mate on this fight but I honestly couldn't care less. Buzzing for Brook, thought Porter would be too much for him, glad to be proved wrong.

What did he say about Thurman and Mayweather?

I'd enjoy seeing Brook-Thurman. Would be a boxing match vs what we just watched.

Surely Kell Brook will get to #4 in Horse's P4P now.

Murray #3 of course.

I think Porter put a bit too much into those early rounds and wasn't as effective as he thought he would be or maybe even looked. He was edging rounds but he was having to take lots of flush shots and work at a high pace to deny Kell any time. It caught up with him in the final third, which is why Brook seemed so much fresher. Good fight and both guys proved they are legit.

Fantastic result, well deserved. Brook definitely won, Porter hardly landed a decent shot all night, him gassing so badly was really surprising though.

What the fvck were Watt, Halling & Parris watching? Idiots.

I can't see a Porter win or draw. The gap in clean punching was too big for him to have an argument in my view.

Watt makes his mind up on who won a fight before they get in the ring, then just does his best to sell his predetermined opinion.

I just never understand Jim Watt at all, he's an ex world champ but I often wonder if he knows what he's on about.

For what it's worth, Dan Rafael had Brook winning 116-112. Pretty much spot on imo.

Congratulations Kell!!! :yay:

He was the classier fighter all the way through; Porter threw a helluva lot but wasn't landing very much clean.

He was dirty as well, using his head at times and the ref did nothing. Great performance from Kell. I wonder if the rematch will be made and if so will it be in England?

One in the eye for those who reckoned Porter would walk through Kell.

Brook 116-113.

Ugly as fvck but if that's what you gotta do, that's what you gotta do. Brook's jab was outstanding--if under-utilised--& all the clinching might've been an eyesore but it definitely nullified Porter's work & I think was what led him to fading, too.

:TU: Kell!
