Was never big on porter guy arguably has the ugliest style in boxing today.

Brook didn't look as good as I expected but got the w.

I hadn't seen much of porter but got sucked in to the bias on here and was expecting brook to get stopped so it was a shock in that sense, but having seen porter in that fight he smothers his own work, hasn't got a world class skillset and gets through on aggression mainly.

I hadn't seen much of either but I picked Brook to win by late round stoppage, so I wasn't surprised at the result.

I was definitely surprised with the result. I picked Porter by close decision, and didn't think Brook would handle Porter's pressure. Hats off to Brook though.

I think Shawn was pretty overrated due to the Paulie destruction, but personally I figured that into my equation & still had Shawn coming out on top so....having said that when two top undefeated guys fight idk that its gonna be that big of a shock in most cases who wins, Kell was clearly the least proven, but on a shock scale of 1-10 idk that I'd rank it higher than a 4 or 5.

Wasn't really much of a shock, most people have just been focusing on Brook's negative attributes far too long and not wanting to acknowledge what he does well.... There was always a chance that Brook might find the pace and work rate of someone like Porter too much, but Brook has always been a big, strong welter with legitimate power and timing and always had assets that make him a dangerous 147lb fighter. Its nice that he finally got to showcase his talent on the world stage and shut a few people up.... Although I fully expect to hear about how Porter was hugely overrated and Thurman would spark Brook in 1.

Some people think Keith will spark Floyd so yea Kell would be a deadman by those folks.

I thought Porter would win to be honest but it was hardly a shock.

To be honest I was disappointed with Porter. Once he couldn't blast Brook out of there he had very little else and was comfortably outboxed.

I hadn't followed Porter that closely and have to admit that I wasn't sure exactly what Kell was up against. But with Kell having been kept in a holding-pattern for so long for a title shot I was worried he might tighten-up on the night or go the opposite way and just rush in......and winning in America is still a tall order for Brits (even though it is not the once in a Blue Moon event it used to be).

It is no Honeyghan v Curry.....but its a nice, if not entirely unexpected surprise.

Not at all a shock. I think the odds moved significantly in Porters favour when the fight moved to the states, and a lot depended on how Brook would manage the weight, but many of us felt that he was capable of winning.

No shock at all as posted here on Friday I said Brook would win and was happy to take the 5/1 odds offered by the bookies for a points win. A lot of posters on here eating humble pie today :DDD

His jab could stop a bull in it's tracks and that will be his best weapon in this fight to keep Porter at distance and punish him when he does attack. He won't have it all his own way but I feel Brook has better all round skills, reflexes, timing and accuracy. I think a lot of people are overestimating Porter based on his wins over Alexander and Malignaggi and I'm confident Kell would have beaten those two in similar fashion.

 Well done! I guess I was guilty of just picking the guy that I was more familiar with, only seeing Brook fight once before.

I actually pick Brook and he may have won but I thought he would look better but some of that maybe because of Porter styles. But to me both underwhelmed but the good fighters

It was close to a 50/50 fight coming in, not shocked at all.
