Got to go with Kell, I think he would be able to land that shot that would take Khan out.

Khan might want Wembley but it makes more sense to have it in Old Trafford or the Ethiad stadium given both fighters are from the North of England.

God knows I've written Khan off before though and got it wrong. More than once.
Thats what i pretty much took from Brook's display last night. He was very composed and controlled.

Im so glad he won. I really thought he was going to get painfully beaten.

Im not convinced that Brock is really that powerful though. Khan v Brook would be a great fight. I think i would probably edge Khan based on his speed and work-rate but we all know he is vulnerable around the whiskers.

Brook will win convincingly. People will say Khan wasn't right/is a shadow of his former self.

It would be a great fight. Can see Khan making it impossible to happen due to his high demands though.

Khan in his head believes he is number 3 to Floyd and Manny so will expect the majority share.

Really? Why would they say that? I'm pretty sure the manner in which Brook will most likely win has been exposed before with Khan.

I expect he will batter him. And rolling back to the Brook v Porter fight, didn't you say Porter was garbage?

Just pre-empting.

Well rolling back to the Brook v Porter fight, didn't you say Porter was garbage?

Just pre-empting.
I had never seen him fight before, and he was in the second half of the fight, he threw meaningless punches that missed, it was rubbish. I wasn't taking anything away from Brook, but I guess that's how you took it?

I love how defensive you are about Brook, it's actually embarrassing.

OK. I'm not really all that defensive to be honest, was just disappointed with how you went down the "Porter is Garbage" route.

I think its reasonable for me to take it that way, given your history. It wasn't just you either, was just using it as an example.

I think it is reasonable that that was the case, especially coming from you.
Well you completely misinterpreted a comment made during the fight and are getting all prissy about it, I think that's embarrassing, and defensive....coming from you.

I said a long time ago I'd expect Brook to beat Khan by KO, I don't think it matters which version of Khan would show up as he's always been able to be hurt, and Brook hits hard. It's not exactly rocket science.

Was it all that difficult to misinterpret? Given the tone of the forum in general? I think it is an assumption which could be made without any prejudice or bias.

The original comment wasn't particularly aimed at you, it was just stating the obvious. There will obviously be people who come and say that. Brook could just as well beat Khan on points.

The fact I was critiquing his performance at the time rather than his overall ability, he started well, but nothing changed once Brook adapted to it and neutralised all his work. That's rubbish from championship level boxers, why can't I point that out without you turning it into something it isn't? I didn't think anything else of that comment and was quite complimentary about Brook's win, I was even glad he won. I really don't understand why people like you take this so personally, you're grown men.

Taking it personally? I don't. Did I jump straight on the thread pissing and moaning?

No. I just remember seeing it and thinking "here we go". It won't be the first time somebody had taken something the wrong way.

And like I said, the original statement wasn't aimed at you. It's you whose taking it personally now. As per.

I asked a simple question and you threw that remark at me, you should probably have a think about who's taking what personally, love.

Because it was relevant wasn't it?

You put that "Porter is garbage", which can easily be taken to be the reason Kell won the fight. I haven't manufactured that statement to fit any agenda, simply misinterpreted it if anything.

And I brought it up because I was talking to you, so was a good example. fornicate me.

It's not because I made no comments about his ability before hand, I never picked anyone to win the fight because I'd never seen him fight. So I genuinely had no idea what to expect from Porter. Either way, it had nothing to do with me asking you why would people be saying that about Khan, which is made all the more pertinent by the fact most people are picking Brook to win. Khan is chinny, he has been throughout his entire career, how can people honestly say he's not as good as he used to be if Brook stops him? Brook would stop any version of Khan IMO.

Porter isn't garbage. Kell was doing well. Somebody (which just happened to be you) put Porter is garbage. That is it, end of story. If you believe Porter to be garbage, then I would still say you are doing Kell a disservice, but that doesn't matter. I just expected more of the same (again, not aimed at you) should he beat Khan.

You are still acting like I was directing the statement at you, or that you represent the Khan fanbase as a whole. You don't. I was speaking for the ones who will say things along the line of "he isn't as good as he used to be". And you know people will. You're right, it would be a ridiculous statement, I am AGREEING WITH YOU. That was my whole point.

I think Brook could beat him on points too, doesn't have to be a KO, though I think it's most likely.

I wrote a longer more eloquent version but my I pad died, you're getting the short version done on my phone.

Once Brook adjusted to Porter he was able to mostly neutralise Porter's attack and make him miss, that good from a brook. But there was no change from Porter to that, which shows he's somewhat one dimensional, that's bad. That's my point, at this level that's bad. None of saying what I said about Porter was a reflection on Brook, I was impressed with Brook in the fight, but it doesn't mean I can't be critical of Porter. I don't understand why being critical of him reflects on Brook in anyway, other than you saying it does.

My only criticism of Brook would be that I thought during the fight if he threw the upper cut more he could have stopped him.

Eloquence is overrated, I appreciate the cliffnotes.

Did it annoy you when after the Collazo v Khan fight people alluded to the fact Collazo was over-rated? Because it did me. It's not a Kell thing with me, it's a boxing thing in general where instead of credit, people instead dismiss the opponent. Really grinds my gears.

I just thought this was another example of the above, writing Porter off as a reason for Kell winning. Probably influenced by me seeing way too much of it on here (across many fights). And the same will ring true when he beats Khan. It doesn't piss me off because it's against Brook, I just don't like it in general.

Porter is still a very good fighter and Brook was better on the night and would most likely beat him better if a rematch was foisted on him.

Brook beating Khan is not a certainty; Collazo was written up as a big destructive force because of the Ortiz win; Khan showed a bit of everything to beat him and he did deserve more credit for the win.

I understand where DMA is coming from, I'm glad Brook won and I think he won the title against a strong champion, it'll be good to see him in good fights though if they imagine Khan will come for the money or fold the first time he's hit then I think they need to put their heads back on the right way round.
