Dirrell-Bika a disappointment...

I cant stand watching Bika fight,he has some characteristics of a great champion like great punch resistance,tough,game ,decent power and awkward to catch clean but boxing wise,he's all over the place and he's a spoiler and dirty,not my cup of tea and i dread when he has a fight on as i know he'll make it ugly

They were both so shite I couldn't watch the last two rounds, I'm sure I could see people in the crowd laughing at how poor they were, even ODLH.

I thought this AND Brook/Porter were awful fights in all honesty. They were both mauls with a little bit of world class ability being on show every so often. Figueroa/Estrada was easily the best fight on the card and credit to both of those guys.

Let's see......................Bika gets clearly defeated every time he steps up in class, losing wide to Calzaghe and Ward along with being dominated by Bute.
Dirrel needed two tries to defeat Bika.

Were you somehow expecting to be impressed by one or the other???

That's understandable because their first fight was pretty good but why would think either was going to be impressive?

Bika fought in fear of being DQ'd so he didn't go all out as he did in their first fight, I do think he was getting schooled whenever they were at a distance but I did feel at some point he had to know he was behind and needed to take more chances to get inside even at the risk of being DQ'd but he never really persisted with his attack even though he did appear to launch it several times.

Bika is dirty as hell and that's the only way he can win in a fight like this so he should've stuck to his guns.

Yeah, this one was a disappointment compared to there epic, beautifully boxed first encounter did you not see the first fight? It was a shitfest and everyone that knows the sport knew that this fight would be the same but the only good thing is that there was a winner this time and will never have to see it again

Referee Jack Reiss was on his back and kept pushing him hard at the break. The point deduction was for a perfectly legal belt line punch.

I thought Reiss did a great job up until that point deduction, he (Reiss) knew he had to keep and maintain control over the fight because Bika was still being dirty throughout (punching Dirrell while he was on the floor and whatnot).

Yes Reiss was almost too present in the fight at times but I wouldn't say it was one-sided as The Dog was warned several times for his infractions and despite the point deductions and interference at times Bika did not do enough to win that fight and wasn't the only person fighting the Ref.

Too bad you're too biased to see that though.

I agreed with one of the Judges I had it 114-113 Dirrell, the point taken away gave Dirrell the fight in my card other wise it would be even, so my opinion neither guys won the fight, Bika gave it away with the point, I know other judges had it more wide, but in my eyes I was not impressed with neither fighter because neither fighter deserved the Victory.

Bika is an awkward guy to fight.
Dirrell showed his composure and looked thrilled with his victory in the end and so he should.
