Muhammad Ali big time! With multiple late abd final round KO's and rallies to serve as examples; Frazier, Ellis, Shavers, Lyle, Mathis, etc.

Lennox Lewis didn't miss many. Perhaps just letting Holyfield off the hook in the 3rd round of their first fight.

Ray Leonard didn't seem to let many opponents off the hook having hurt them.

Foreman was a great finisher. Dempsey and Pryor have to be up there as well.

Among heavyweight champions..... Dempsey, Louis were the top two best finishers; Marciano, Tyson are close seconds

Among heavyweight contenders.... I always thought Razor Ruddock was one hell of a finisher

Ali was not an all-time great finisher. Finishing means you get your man in trouble, you get your man out.

I'd bet some of these guys would even view Sonny's dive in Lewiston as a prime example of Ali's "finishing" abilities.

Ali was a truly great, great fighter.

Should they disregard that statement, you simplistic jackass?

He was not an all-time great finisher.

That is the truth, whether the simpletons understand it or not.

Hearns would be the very definition of a finisher. :TU:

Nancey, maybe I'm confusing you with another poster . No need for your childish drivel. Who has Ali ever let off the hook though ?

Duran does not quite meet my personal definition of an all-time, "put their lights out when their ready to go" type finisher.

Neither does Joe Frazier, btw. (this for the simplistic morons who seem to think that I'm a total Frazier shill)

Duran and Frazier would be classified as attrition type guys, which btw, I think is ultimately worse for the health of an opponent than a "lights out" type of finisher.

My moniker is "yancey", jackass. And you accuse me of being "childish".

I won't answer your question as I really don't think you understand what a "finisher" really is.

Good call.
I would add Arguello and Olivares as two other guys who didn't let hurt fighters off the hook

The welter and light middleweight Hearns was very good, once he'd landed hard he was there in a flash.
The prime Don Curry could finish very well when he'd hurt his man.
Ricky Hatton was a good finisher.
Ricardo Lopez was excellent and could finish a fight quickly but not look hurried.
