Froch has fought better opponents than Wlad, no doubt, but his dominance of the heavyweight division is remarkable, similar to how Ward dominate the super middleweight division, although Ward has a much better resume. One can't ignore a guy who is the top dog at the top division.

Then Floyd.

Then M Garcia.

End of list.

B Hop, JMM and Pac do not belong with the top guys in this list any more.

Froch and Cotto aren't within a mile.

I may be sleeping on GGG but we'll see. Hopefully he gets a Quillen or similiar soon.

I'm factoring how I see them head to head a fair bit here.
Ward at #1 ? I don't think a fighter who is so inactive should be at #1 position. I don't like how Wlad fights, but he is an undisputed HW champ miles above everybody else, so he has to be on the list until he shows signs of decline.

Re Ward, that's fair enough

Ward's had 6 fights since 2010, the same as Floyd. If he gets a fight scheduled for this year, he maintains a one-a-year regime for the last 3 years. Kinda crappy, but it keeps him in the discussion for me.

This year and last year are the first two years in a long time where Floyd has fought twice a year, I thought he was sensational against Alvarez, otherwise he's been underwhelming (by the standards of his P4P peers) and he hasn't even tackled the top guys at 147.

Rigo and Ward look better to me and by some margin.

Edit: I don't, under any circumstances, watch the heavies so I can't say much about Dr Steelhammer.

I'm assuming that Diddy has copied and pasted on of his old lists. Chris John hasn't won for nearly two years.
