Figueroa staying at 135.

Post by VG_Addict »

According to the Scene, Omar Figueroa will not be moving to 140 after all.

I think this is a smart move by him. He'd get knocked out by Garcia, Matthysse, and Provodnikov at 140.

Not a bad idea considering his face-first style.

I'd love to see Figueroa/Mitchell. Would be a great action fight and Figueroa's toughest test so far.

If he is having hard times making weight, it may not be a good idea. He might gain enough boost in his punching power at LWW to compensate having stronger opposition.

I saw on BS that he was moving up. If he isn't, he has Linares to fight. If he does, well, he has serious problems there too.
