Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
Many fans are hoping for a big name, but i believe Bundu will end up as the opponent rather to a big name, despite the eliminator between bundu- jo jo dan i believe he will will end up the opponent, any other european welters who you think will be picked?

Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
I hope its Amir. Amir makes a ton of sense. Its a huge fight for the UK that should pay better than anything else out there. It seems like a fight that could lead to a Cinco de Mayweather date where he'll really make some money & if he can beat or do well vs Floyd will increase his mainstream appeal worldwide.
Keith seems more ideal & more importantly fun & the winner should be the #1 contender for Floyd, but that makes less sense with the UK angle with Amir.

Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
I bet any amount of money its not a big name not Khan, Thurman. It picking a Jo-Jo Dan, Bundu or even Gavin. They want a hometown defense in Sheffield not a loss in his first defense.
Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
Hearn wants to build up for a summer show down. Khan is fighting on 6th in the states.
Now Hearn mentioned these fighters for brook.
1.rios but he may fight provodnikov
2. Berto
3. Josesito lopez
I know ion don is supposed to have an eliminator with bundu.

Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
Personally i'd like to see Khan have another ddecent fight at 147 first, so he can fully adapt to the weight and it leaves few excuses.
Khan vs Alexander & Brook vs Bundu/Alvarado/Abregu would be fun double header that would do well both sides of the pond surely?

Dont want to see Rios btw, over-expensive and taking far to many shots (and L's) in the wars he's been having

Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
More likely to be the other way around IMO. Khan will want to make sure he's the one that brings American exposure to the fight, otherwise he loses any higher ground he holds over Kell at the negotiating table.cold187 wrote:khan vs bundu and brook vs rios - double header
Would anybody give Rios much of a chance against Khan, i think Amir would stop him personally (body shots)
Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
Brook's team has pretty much said it won't be Thurman, and seem to a little unsure of who will be his "stay busy" fight. Berto or Lopez seems most likely. Berto, as down as he has been, may be the tougher match-up.
Khan, from what I have read, seems to have it down to Alexander or Guerrero. Guerrero would be the smart choice if he wants any chance at all to fight Floyd, since it would be a common opponent. I am guessing he fights Alexander though. Guerrero may rough him up a little too much. Alexander is less risky.
Brook vs Khan next year, providing they both win this fall/winter.

Cant see Khan stopping Rios, body shots or head shots. The guy is a punching bag but a bloody tough one.Yes We Can wrote:More likely to be the other way around IMO. Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
josesito lopez i would choose, not a huge puncher, not likely to cause any real problems and a bit of a 'name'

Any chance of Bradley getting a shot at Brook? We've heard absolutely nothing from the guy since the Pac rematch. Would love to see this fight.

I agree. it probably won't be someone too tough after beating a good opponent like Porter.stevekrazy wrote:Many fans are hoping for a big name, but i believe Bundu will end up as the opponent rather to a big name, despite the eliminator between bundu- jo jo dan i believe he will will end up the opponent, any other european welters who you think will be picked?

Re: Kell Brook Dec 6 Defense
I hope it's JMM.
Amir Khan still believes he is entitled to title shots and prestige. Kell Brook should skip Amir and fight Marquez. It is a much higher profile fight everywhere in the world except GB (maybe even there too).
A win would give Brook a new level of popularity and prestige. A win against Khan would be important to a few weirdos in GB, but every other realistic person looks at it as a win against Danny Garcia's bitch.
Khan should be fighting a guy like Robert Guerrero. The winner of that fight should fight for a title or have a big fight next.
Brook VS Marquez. Let's see it.

I like this, but I get a feeling the competing promotions angle might hinder this being made as per usual.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:I hope it's JMM.

I have my doubts this first defence will be that good considering how much Rios was paid last time out.
For the record I think Brook beats Rios vicously.
