Marvin Hagler. If had to explain boxing to someone who had never heard of or seen the sport I would show them a tape of Hagler.

Hagler was an excellent attacking southpaw who had the advantage of power and marvelous punch resistance; a fantastic fighter to watch but not the model of a boxer to copy for a novice.
