I think the next couple of fights will tell everyone excatly where Kell is in the scheme of things .. But for now let him and his supporters , ride the crest of the wave , because there is one thing for sure , years of hard work , thousands of rnds of sparring will now pay off , we know he has at least one fight with the potential to set him up for life , KHAN .

And personaly i think he will ko Khan , has much has i like Khan i just don't think he will satand up to Brooks power and he will get hit , Now imagine if he did fight Khan say early next year ,, after a ko win over Khan , i can see the world saying Porter , Khan,,, Now we want Floyd ,,, Brooks . .

And that ladies and gents , is the reason i forcast , you will not see a Khan Brooks fight , until AFTER Khan fights Floyd , if he ever does

Would be nice for them , i can see Floyd having a easy night with both of them , But i would like to see it , simply because has long has they don't get hurt they could retire very rich young men , and thats always nice to see.

Tell you what, if I had spent half my life chasing a title, starving, training, getting injured, then go to the other guys back yard when 90% of the press and public are saying I am going to get mullered...and I happen to turn the guy over through courage, skill and preparation, and suddenly, I am on the gravy train it is going to take a long long time before I stop crowing about it.

Absolutely massive achievement which should not be underestimated.

I started the thread and I did not rubbish his achievement but said I felt they were going a bit overboard and acting like he is higher than he actually is.

And since when did fans start bowing to alphabet belts, it is not a world championship in the purest sense of the word

I understand what you are saying, it was a great great win for Brook, but lets not pretend that he is the best in the World at his weight.

I like Quigg and Frampton, but they should both stop going on about World titles and fight each other because neither will be any where near the best in the World as long as Rigondeaux is boxing - in the meantime they should earn some money and have some great fights.

Macklin is getting his fourth shot at a "title" and Murray is trying to get another shot - they should build up a fight between themselves as Golovkin is the best in the world at their weight. There are some great fights between Murray/Macklin/Eubank/Saunders etc. that could be made rather than individually chasing a paper title.

Also, some scousers are talking about the Bellew/Clev fight as if it is the rumble in the jungle - in reality I reckon that Alofabi (and probably McKenzie) would beat them both.

Bellew has already beaten him twice. Conclusively the second time. Afolabi I don't doubt.

Afolabi must be one of the most underrated boxers in Britain, gets nowhere near the credit he deserves.

Would be great to see him fight the winner of Clev/Bellew so he gets a bit of public recognition.

not how i remember it. the consensus as i saw it was that it was a very close matchup with the the home advantage tipping the balance in porters favour

McKenzie was well ripped off in their first fight - he had Bellew going who was given opportunities to rest and continue whereas the first time McKenzie got caught the ref stopped the fight.

The second fight was Bellew "boxing to orders" - again, McKenzie knew what he was up against.

At a higher weight, McKenzie has the confidence of his recent wins, if they were both given a fixed date and time to prepare - I would fancy McKenzie to win.

All subjective of course !
