Ah the curse of the hardcore boxing fan - everyone thinks you'll be happy as a pig in shit so long as they get you something boxing related. Fortunately most people who know me tend to think I've already got all that stuff. I think the last boxing gift I got was one of those really cool battery powered "Rocky" hamsters.....DavidPayne wrote:Merry Christmas everyone.
And lets hope Santa brings more than a Lynx gift set, a book by Thomas Hauser about Ali's sock drawer and a VHS of the Fantastic Four.

I was going to provide a witty and amusing amalgamation of Christmas and boxing related prose, full of satire, sarcasm, puns and prophanity.
However, the result would have killed you all through extreme laughter, so I'll just wish you all a Happy Christmas and New Year instead.

Jomo,
You mean things like enjoying your Michael Sprouts, with your Audley Harrison Gravy train, With you party Hatton, mixing with old Aunties who Witter on always think their Winky Wright.
Enjoying festive desserts like plum Micky Duff or Arturo Gateaux.
Gathering round the for the children's nativty with Jon Shepherds in their Holyfield's, With Don King in the Sports Network Stable. They were forced in to the stable because there wasn't Matchroom at the Inn. Mary will turn to her husband and say its a Mesi Baby Joe!
We'll all complain about the Mundine viewing on television, Grandad with thank you for his Ty-son. And you'll try not to tell him how much it Kostya. The church will implore you to Lovemore than you Ndou.
You'll all pull a cracker, and the joke will say:
'Audley Harrison: World Champion in 2006.

It's amazing how as people have been involved in the fight game longer and longer, they invariably talk more bollocks.KO Atrist wrote:The last 3 years my father in law has got me
1) Muhammad Ali by Tom Hauser
2) Audley Harrison Book (Which I sometimes use the cover as Target Practice for my Airgun)
3) Boxings greatest rounds (complete with legendary bullshitters Manny Stewart and Ferdie Pacheco.
I cant wait for this year.
