Why so he could end up another underpaid Slave to Arum? I'd advise any fighter that isn't big enough to pull in a big gate to steer clear of Arum unless you're looking to get raped and end up fighting the same fighter 5 times.

Fighting the same opponent 5 times, erm I can't remember any of them recently, though there are some 4 fight series out there that had nothing to do with Arum...

Thurman could sign a 2 year deal and fight Manny, Bradley, and Abregu at least..Not sure about JMM. Probably more than he will get currently being a free agent. You would think Haymon could make any fight happen, but is not doing it. Of course things will open up after Pac and Floyd retire, but until they do it will be a very select few that get shots at the big fights.

thats the short list of "biggest punchers in boxing" right now and every 3 of em are getting ducked. hopkins boxing kovalev is an exception, but other champs and former like bute, pascal, adonis want nothing of kovalev.

cotto is in the same weight class as ggg and 0 talk. same goes for quillin.

porter prefered boxing a slick but not so powerful brook, why, because porter at a lot of points in fights is very open, because often throws wild, being open in defence against thurman means getting wrecked, porter and other know.
The truth.

You can't say Kovalev is being ducked when he has a scheduled fight with the number 3 in his division.

GGG and Thurman can't get anyone in the ring with something to lose. They have effectively punked fighters on their way to the top.

I really hope that this doesn't make Thurman lose his hunger. Many fighters who have to wait too long for their shot end up losing to a fighter because it's hard to stay motivated without any significant challenge.

Why? When it's 80,000 at Wembley, Khan will receive his biggest pay cheque yet

I don't see it being 80,000. It will draw a big crowd but not that big IMO

I hope Thurman and Garcia sign with Top Rank, i heard Thurman wants to fight Bradley. Even old man Marquez could fight either two

Brook vs Khan will be a massive fight in the UK, but not in the US. This all hinges on if both win their fights early this winter. If they wait longer, like til about the end of October to announce their opponents, they will have the upper hand since the opponents won't have proper time to prepare. :OhYes: I look for both to very carefully select their next opponent.

Thurman recently said he is more than willing to fight Bradley. Hope it gets made, and since Thurman is a free agent no reason why it can't be made.

He is interim for the WBA, maybe TBE should fight him.

So now an Olympic medalist turned World champ with Barrera (albeit wya past his best), Kotelnik, Paulie, Maidana, Judah, Peterson, Garcia & Collazo on his CV is a joke?

So far I don't think so, but there is talk of him easing up on it. Thurman needs to tell Haymon that he wants better fights. Right now Haymon is doing nothing for him, and will probably keep him from guys like Garcia, Floyd, Khan, etc. Personally I think Thurman should push for Guerrero again or Porter. They both turned him down before, but so did JMM and Khan....and Garcia is just coming up. Alexander is another good fight for him. Realistically I guess he needs to remain patient until Floyd retires.
