He's Hollywood now. He needs to stay there. He cares more about his face than his boxing craft.

fights with Berto & Maidana were excellent.

never would have considered the Argie to have ended up having the best career of the 3 a few years ago.

When he's got it working and his confidence is up, he's a very good fighter.
That confidence is about as fragile as an eggshell, though.
Never the less, I always seem to enjoy his fights and the prospect of crazy sh*t happening.
It's been obvious since the Maidana post fight comments and following meltdowns/quits that his heart has never been 100% in boxing, so it wouldn't suprise me if he's done. I just hope not.

I just watched a interview with him (he gots a solid Stallone impression btw) a few days ago & he was talking about fighting in October. Apparently he got another movie role in a film called Southpaw staring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Good to see the film career is going well for him. When he wasnt putting on the tough guy act, he came across as a good guy.

Southpaw was originally going to be starring Eminem, but he pulled out and Gyllenhaal stepped in.
The movie will probably be better for it.

With Antonie Fuqua (Training Day) directing & Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy) writing the script idk that this film was gonna have a rough time anyway, but obviously Gyllenhaal has the better acting chops so I think you're right.

Also worth noting 50 Cent will be in this film too. Maybe Victor & Curtis will get a chance to sh!ttalk Floyd during filming.

If 50 is in it it will not be good. He's just a horrific actor. Can't understand a god damn word he says. Mumbles McGee.

x2

I'm an Ortiz fan. I don't care if he wins or loses. If he's in a fight it's going to be fun. I don't bite my nails for the guy to win or anything, but I'll tune in. He's been in some of the best fights in recent memory. His fights against Maidana and Berto were brilliant.

Khan vs Ortiz... That'd be great.

He's always been a space cadet. Maidana showed us who Ortiz really is.

I like VO. I honestly do. I do not care if he wins or loses he is just entertaining to watch as a fighter. He seems like a good guy and may only have a limited style but he is entertaining.

Tony Danza and Mickey Rourke only can dream they would have gotten as far as VO did in boxing.

I thought his performance in X3 was rushed and limited but it I do think he definitely does have a really good future in the entertainment biz.

I do hope he does decide to give boxing another run because I honestly believe that boxing needs him more than he needs boxing.
