Manny Pacquiao's road to becoming a PBA playing coach has been paved after the Filipino boxing icon was selected 11th overall by expansion club Kia Motors on Sunday.
The reigning WBO welterweight champion was unable to attend the proceedings, however, because of the press tour for his upcoming fight with Chris Algieri.
But Pacquiao visited the PBA office on Friday to have his measurements taken, ensuring his entry into the draft.
Kia earlier appointed Pacquiao as coach of the team.
