Yeah looks decent actually.

The Khomitsky fight for Ryder is big balls IMO. Sure I read Khomitsky was battering Steiglitz until a cut. Will have to watch that one.

Wonder whats happening with Kevin Mitchell then ??????

The card needs a headline fight to sell tickets. Surely Eddie knows this?????

This card at the moment won't even half fill the O2.

Boylan keeps tweeting that he is on the Phones 4U bill in Manchester on the 13th September. I presume that this must be a warm up for the fight in London.
They all look easily winnable fights for the Matchroom boxer to me. Khomitsky is a hard hard man but nothing exceptional skill wise.

I rate Ryder highly and fancy him to grind out a hard fought decision against Khomitsky, which will put him on the map in the MW division.
I though Degale was due to fight a 'high profile' opponent on this show?

Yeah it probably does need a headline fight - Selby will shift fvck all tickets in London & not many will fork out just to see Joshua now the novelty has worn off a bit.

All of the lads on the undercard so far shift a fair amount of tickets, but agree it needs more if its to make the o2 seem busy.

Am I missing something but how comes Kevin Mitchell isn't on this bill is he injured?

I expect they will do a similar thing to that Quigg v Salinas card and only have the O2 set to a certain capacity.

I remember Eddie tweeting a couple of times about making another world title fight for 1 of the matchroom lads. With Manchester, Leeds, Hull & London shows announced it remains to be seen who has the shot. Mitchell, Degale & Jamie Mcdonnell seem to be missing from these bills. Degale more than likely waiting on a Froch decision.

I think he meant Crolla. I'd guess he was close on agreeing terms with Abril or something only for it to fall through.

I think they will set it up for around 6-7 thousand.I think without a big headliner he will be elated with 5 thousand. It will be similar to last years o2 card.I doubt there will be massive purses involved so the show shouldn`t lose money if it did around 5 thousand.

but if why use the o2 then? If your only going to set up for 6-7k why not use somewhere more suitbale?

The other venues might not be avalible on the day,in London you only really have the Excell,Wembley Arena and the Copperbox(Wazza has an exclusive deal) that can do 6-7000,then you have the smaller venues like the Olympia and Alexander Palace.I also reckon Hearn has a good relationship with the o2 after the Froch-Kessler fight so maybe got a decent deal on the hire price also the o2 will proberly host Froch-Degale and in the future some Anthony Joshua fights. As a fan I like the o2 for boxing as long as you can get the last tube back.

Big test for Joel Brunker. Undefeated so far. But this is his acid test.
