Jermain Taylor arrested in shooting
Re: Jermain Taylor arrested in shooting
mmhh....I mean in my eyes he could have again played a role at middleweight, that situation now...
is hard who to blame. the cousin who comes out of nowhere to taylors house or taylor, because even when you argue with somebody you dont have to shoot somebody.
if everybody who argues which each other also shoot each other, than millions would day each single day.

Re: Jermain Taylor arrested in shooting
Pretty much this. If his fight is still on & it sounds like it is it seems likely the shooting was justified @ least based on current info.pugilisticprofessor wrote:Just because his cousin did not have a gun when they found him several blocks away after the shooting at a store parking lot does not mean that he didn't have a gun at Taylor's home.
There is def more to the story.
Re: Jermain Taylor arrested in shooting
Rubio wont step aside, he knows there would be no garuntee that he would face GGG in the future !! Sams style gives any fighter, no matter who they are, fits.
being mentioned elsewhere JT is on bail and will still be able to fight soliman.....can anyone confirm this ?

Jermaine Taylor's attorney is using the Arkansas Castle law as defense.
2010 Arkansas Code
Title 5 - Criminal Offenses
Subtitle 1 - General Provisions
Chapter 2 - Principles of Criminal Liability
Subchapter 6 - Justification
§ 5-2-608 - Use of physical force in defense of premises.
5-2-608. Use of physical force in defense of premises.
(a) A person in lawful possession or control of premises or a vehicle is justified in using nondeadly physical force upon another person when and to the extent that the person reasonably believes the use of nondeadly physical force is necessary to prevent or terminate the commission or attempted commission of a criminal trespass by the other person in or upon the premises or vehicle.
(b) A person may use deadly physical force under the circumstances set forth in subsection (a) of this section if:
(1) Use of deadly physical force is authorized by 5-2-607; or
(2) The person reasonably believes the use of deadly physical force is necessary to prevent the commission of arson or burglary by a trespasser.

I'm going to wait until all of the evidence is presented before making a judgmental comment ... probably the first time that has been done in the history of forums.
However, I will slide this in ... in America, it seems like every problem is solved with guns. I can't make someone leave me house so I'll get something that could kill them.

I will also hold back judgement on Taylor.sucracristo wrote:you say that like it's a bad thingBAD INTENTIONS wrote:I can't make someone leave me house so I'll get something that could kill them.
But I will chime in with this.If a person is in my house uninvited I am not above using deadly
force to get them out.
I do not know enough about this case to comment on if this is what happened with Taylor.

I bet some Ukranians living between 1931-1933 would love to have the same rights Americans do of solving their problems with guns.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:in America, it seems like every problem is solved with guns.
They didn't have these rights, of course.
Therefore they died.

There was a civil war in Russia before that. Guns didn't help then.crow wrote:I bet some Ukranians living between 1931-1933 would love to have the same rights Americans do of solving their problems with guns.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:in America, it seems like every problem is solved with guns.

What the fvck are you on about? Corruption goes on everywhere. If you think the U.S. is the sole bastion of non corruption you are very naive. You realize Amnesty International deals with human rights violations and not political corruption right, unless it directly affects human rights abuses? You want to back up those claims of Amnesty International reports or will you just keep on making shit up as you go?sucracristo wrote:hmm, because i specifically responded to someone who said it is ok to murder your cousin in the usa
whereas in most of the wold it is a tragedy. taylor didn't murder anyone, and wasn't even charged with
attempting to murder anyone. my statement specifically addressed the process that takes place whereby
someone is arrested, charged, tried, and convicted or released in this country. because you shot someone
doesn't automatically make you guilty of a crime. somewhere along the line, you developed a hate inside
you and it makes you spring like a cat without thinking. i never said anything about how corrupt italy, greece,
portugal, spain, and many other western european countries are and all the amnesty international reports
on them. i never mentioned any of that. you just have a problem with someone saying let's wait until
someone had their day in court. the guy might have deserved a couple warning shots to the kneecaps.
maybe he had a few overdue library books or something. let's hear jermain's side. that's all

Did this civil war cause the death by starvation of more than 10 millions people in the space of 2 years ?ikorolev wrote:

No ?
Then, i rest my case.

This has to be one the silliest things I've ever read, and I once read a UKIP party political leaflet that someone pushed through the door.crow wrote:I bet some Ukranians living between 1931-1933 would love to have the same rights Americans do of solving their problems with guns.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:in America, it seems like every problem is solved with guns.

You don't need to belong to any political party to use your common sense.
It doesn't take a genius to understand why some governments prefer their citizens unarmed and unable to defend their rights, property and liberty.

You have less rights and less liberty than the majority of Europe, and you've never used your guns to protect it. You can however, shoot people that are on your property, yes. I normally tell them to fvck off. Saves effort, money and psychological damage.crow wrote:Lenny Cravats wrote:

Really ?Lenny Cravats wrote:

Many Americans are what's called "Sovereigns", and don't have their property and income taxed if they don't wish to join social security, etc..
You have this in Europe ?
No ?
In America, free speech is protected.
No person can be persecuted solely for his opinions.
Guess that's another one Europeans are out of.
One can use guns to defend its rights, family and property, against any threat, foreign or domestic.
But of course, all these points have been covered by mainstream medias.
No ?
Strange...

stalin killed many times that in purges and sending people to die in gulags, all unarmed of course.crow wrote: Did this civil war cause the death by starvation of more than 10 millions people in the space of 2 years.
fascism and communism killed hundreds of millions in the 20th century, mostly their own people,
but yeah, those rat bastard americans and their damn bill of rights is the problem.
why don't you just start goose stepping with the program?
Re: Jermain Taylor arrested in shooting
The one good thing Europeans do though is they don't allow their governments to lace their water supply with deadly fluoride, which lowers people's IQ, poisons their thyroid and makes cancer rates explode ( with the exception of Great Britain and small parts of Spain).
When it comes to infant mortality rates, USA is frigging 34 in the world amongst civilised countries; behind South Korea , Macau and Cuba.
