I agree, thought the same thing. Medina is the type of stalker puncher that will exploit those durability flaws...

His fights with Rosado and Periban made me suspect that he'd get stopped soon, but I didn't think it would be at this level.

Interesting week in boxing.

Mike Jones and J'Leon's careers end as -2000 and -4000 favorites.

Great job, fellas.

Jones loss was much worse. He literally lost to a club fighter trashman. Medina is at least OK.

Are you insinuating Broner loses?

You don't seriously believe they will give Taylor the decision, do you? Taylor will lose even if he wins.

Love, jack and most of tmt fighters are nothing special.

Love should have lost to rosado and arguably stopped by periban already.

lol. Mike lost to kinda a bs guy & he's kinda been bsing around the last two years after his first loss so he might actually wanna rethink things. J"Leon on the other hand has fought a lot of solid guys & lost to a solid guy, idk why in the world you'd think his career is over. Guy will likely be fighting again by the end of the year or worse case the first quarter of 2015 if he needs to get back some mojo.

I know people are already writing Love's obituary--- but I do think it's a tad bit premature. This is boxing after all, and one single punch can change the course of a fight. Love has skills, and has alot of determination and grit. Never forget, this was a man whose career was considered 'over' when he broke his neck in a car crash while in the amateurs. Never count him out. For a guy who fought 15 or so nonentities (myself included) and then started fighting top 15 or so competition, he hasnt done bad at all. 19 fights, as a pro, isnt much.

I venture to say Love will want a rematch with this guy, and try and wipe off this mark off his record. He manages to do so, he could get himself into another good fight---- and then be in line for some sort of title shot. Maybe I'm biased cus I fought the man, but I do think all the Love hate--- is a bit much.

I agree, you shouldnt write an athlete like J'Leon Love off.

With that said. The physical KO was brutal, his legs were shaking.

Love also may not recover from the mental damage of this loss (laying on the canvas staring helplessly at Floyd , Ellerbe, the ladies and the TMT entourage). I was also concerned at how Love was moving too much all night and avoiding real engagment, as if he didn't want to be in there.

Brutal KO with Love's leg shaking like that. A devastating defeat for a 26 yr old prospect to come back from. Could've been worse if he had actually managed to stand up and survive the count, it was so early in the round.

Poor matchmaking here, great punch or just a guy who has found his level?

You guys actually thought this leon guy was a prospect. Come on, ive seen two fights with this guy, and after watching him fight for about a round i could tell he wasnt top level guy, and im just a casual fan...

I think it's a case of finding his level, great punch obviously as he knocked him out cold, but the close fights with Rosado, Periban and now Medina (it was close before the KO and I think it would have been close had Love avoided the KO) clearly point to a guy who is decent but not quite champion quality imo. :)

Problem for Love is that I don't see him improving. While the first two rounds were somewhat close, Porky was catching up to him from the opening bell.
I don't see a bright future for this dude. or any of the TMT fighters for that matter.
