Behind the scenes with Lucas Browne on fight night (video)

Hi all,

I make short films and was granted access by Hatton Promotions to follow and film Australian Heavyweight for his last fight in the UK.

I filmed Lucas as he finished his preparation for the fight and followed on in the dressing room right before and after the fight too which is something i haven't seen before. It also features Ricky Hatton in the role of both trainer and promoter.

I love boxing documentaries and All Access and 24/7 are excellent but focus solely on the elite. That said Lucas could be a genuine contender if continues his progress. He only started boxing relatively recently, without any amateur fights. I was impressed with his composure, attitude and willing to improve and learn from each fight. And that right hand is ferocious.

Hi mate, thanks for vid, very well put together. Would love to see more of the behind the scenes type thing. Get an idea of how a boxer approaches a fight once in the changing room.

I was really impressed how Lucas and the whole team were more than happy for me to film everything.

i'll be keeping an eye on his career. after this fight, which i believe was his first 12 rounds in a while (he usually finishes off his opponents) he's wanting to enter the ring next time a lot fitter. still around the same weight-ish but i'm guessing lowering his body fat %.

any other questions just give me a shout. this appears to be a great forum, i'll definitely stick around.
