So glad to hear that the real Rocky is getting his statue for display in Philadelphia.
The unveiling to be next spring near the old Spectrum site, which he opened back in '67.
It characterizes Frazier following through on the hook that smashed Ali down and provided the exclamation point on Joe's great triumph in the FOTC, which I think is very appropriate.

Long live Smoke...A great fighter from perhaps the greatest era in Heavyweight boxing. Something that can never be taken away from Joe : he won the biggest fight in the history of the sport. Only two fighters ever defeated him. Those two were all time greats too. He had the best left hook in Heavyweight history and a tenacity and pride unmatched. He was the blue collar warrior who was self effacing. A proud gent from South Carolina who was all class and no bull. I miss Joe....once when I went over the Atlantic to New York he was signing pics with Holmes at madison Square Garden - the night of Holyfield vs Donald and I missed my chance. I regret that.

Perrsonally I think the staure looks a bit thin especially in the upper body.
Maybe its of a 21 yr old Frazier?
If so,then why not a more mature 26 year old Frazier
with a few miles on him and a bit bulkier.
