I came across this interesting article about Roger Simon who was Sugar Ray Robinson's personal Barber.
He even took him over to Europe with him in 1950.
Simon invented the"Process" which was a hair style for a black man back in the 1940's/1950's,
he was also part of Robinson's song and dance act and also wrote some tunes for singers.

I may be wrong or it may be rumour but I seem to remember reading somewhere that Ray brought a guy to Europe with him to whistle while he trained. I doubt this is true but hilarious if it is.

I know that he also had a valet,a chaufeer and a midget that he brought along to Europe.
