It is probably Hopkins plan to beat the lawsuit out of Kovalev...

Is Kovalev taller than he's listed at do you think? He's listed as being 6ft but looks taller than Hopkins who himself tends to be listed as 6'1.

It's because he's wearing dress shoes that have a heel on them. BHop is wearing a very flat running shoe with no heel.

2-inch heal difference ? Highly unlikely. Hopkins is just shorter than 6'1 and/or Kovalev is taller than 6'.

Hopkins himself mentions the lawsuit argument quite often, so it was one of the main reasons.
It's pretty obvious that the number one reason Hopkins ended up with this fight was Stevenson dragging his feet on signing to fight him.
The old man was going to be stripped of one of his precious belts if he didn't get a fight signed and with Adonis taking his time Hopkins had to go to Kovalev.

That is very common of male dress shoes to have a 2 inch heel but you probably wouldn't know because you probably never wore a nice pair of dress shoes in your entire life. BHop is wearing his very flat running shoes that have no heel whatsoever and if Sergey who is 6 ft and BHop is 6 ft 1 inch are standing like that with Kova having a 2 inch heel then obviously it makes him an inch taller.

Go look up their physical stats and see who is taller, WTF is wrong with you; it is as though you have to try to make a war of everything between these two as though you have to try to give Sergey every advantage.

LOL

Responds to someone questioning their listed heights by linking their listed heights. Since you seem to know what they were wearing, can you link us to a picture or video where it's clear that Kovalev is wearing shoes with two inches more in the heels?

Right, these measurements are always accurate :) I wear dress shoes once in a while, but they haven't had 2-inch heels since late 70s. Now only short people or homosexuals wear high heels. Are you short or gay ?

You can do that for yourself, I'm not your slave. That's your fault that you don't accept the official stats. Get over yourself.

Wow you are pretty f*cking stupid but I didn't realize how much until now, what does being homosexual have to do with dress shoes with 2 inch heels?? You should be questioning your boyfriend Kovalev, he's the one wearing shoes to make himself appear taller than Hopkins.

I think you're not doing it because you're full of crap.

Listed heights are wrong all the time. When a fighter who is listed as being shorter than their opponents seems to be taller when standing next to them, there is nothing wrong with doubting the listed stats.

And you're not doing it because you don't want to be proven wrong! According to what you just stated then we should just take your word for it, right? At least I posted something official and all you have is your word.

You're the one asserting that Kovalev had a two inch heel advantage and that he's actually an inch shorter than Hopkins, so the onus is one you to show it. I haven't asserted that one of them is taller than the other, so I have nothing to prove.

Every fight and every webpage has Hopkins listed as 6ft 1 inch and every boxing match and every webpage has Kovalev listed as 6 ft even, beyond that if you want to debate their physical stats then go and do it with all those who have them listed as such. If that is a source of irritation for you then frankly I don't give a sh*t.

That is certainly not a two-inch heel difference and Bernard is on his toes. I can easily see how they could be the same height or Kovalev a little taller.

You obviously give a shit about something or you wouldn't keep posting about their heights.

Look at the shoes, BHop's shoes are obviously flatter at the heels, look at Kovalev's shoes, they obviously have a bigger heel.

Wow, it's amazing that you guys are making a big deal of this when I used official sources and you're using a pic that is at an angle and one that clearly shows that one guy's shoes has heels and the other is flatter.

Yeah you really proved your point.

Flatter heels doesn't equal heels that are two inches shorter and Hopkins in standing on his toes. Based on what two inch heels look like and the type of shoes Hopkins is wearing, I'd say there's close to no chance Kovalev has two inches in footwear on Hopkins.

Supposedly 'official' sources are wrong all the time and I don't see what's so wrong with questioning whether Hopkins is an inch taller than Kovalev. That could just mean that Kovalev should be listed at 6'1", not that Hopkins is shorter than listed. To use the heights on BoxRec as evidence to show that their commonly listed heights are correct is nonsensical, and while you keep questioning why we care you continue to post in this thread and even post pictures.

Hopkins can have a plan. In boxing superior physicality that forces the other fighter to react trumps plans 9 times out of 10.

Wasn't it Mike Tyson who said words to the effect of "They all have a plan till I hit them"?

Plan or no plan Hopkins won't beat Kovalev.
