I think he's quite a good addition - not polished obviously, but gives an honest opinion which is more than can be said for most pundits.lefty wrote:Why the hell do allegedly have Mcdonagh on there team

He's got a world title fight tonight. What's wrong with being edgy?lefty wrote:Just me or Frampton looking quite edgy? A lot of jaw clenching going on there.
Re: The Official British forum Martinez v Frampton RBR thread
Both men could have 2 or 3 points taken off, both of them were lunging in with the head, O'Kane was turning his back, Stapulionis was punching round the back of the head, they were wrestling all over the gaff and the point came off for the corner trying to sneak in a bit of work on the cut mid round with McDonnell having none of it. It was hard to start taking points off because if he did the whole thing could have become an even bigger mess, it was heading towards both men being disqualified.brian13 wrote:I would have serious issues with Mc Donnell if the fight went on longer and O Kane didn't get a point deduction for turning his back.

They've had him on a couple of times before, good pundit, shocking dress sense.lefty wrote:Why the hell do allegedly have Mcdonagh on there team

I just find him a bit raw I think. Honesty is always good though.Boxerbeetle123 wrote:I think he's quite a good addition - not polished obviously, but gives an honest opinion which is more than can be said for most pundits.lefty wrote:Why the hell do allegedly have Mcdonagh on there team

Been a nice change not to have to suffer KevBev making a pudendum of the announcements. Craig Stephen's doing a decent job. No Buffer but doing a solid job.
You know the boxing is a bit cock when you start assessing the MC....

IMO It's a pretty thin chief supporting fight for 16000 paying customers and a card being televised in a number of territories.

They don't have a huge stable and the two at the top of the bill will be on a fairly big load of money so it's just the way it has to be I think.Black Sam Bellamy wrote:IMO It's a pretty thin chief supporting fight for 16000 paying customers and a card being televised in a number of territories.

Quite possibly....it's touch and go whether Satellite telly was invented for Kirilov's peak days....ShadrachSimmo wrote:I remember watching Darchinyan destroy Kirilov.

Alright BP, are you going to watch Estrada - Segura tonight?Boxing Prospect wrote:Surely the ref should have taken him to the doctor and not the corner?digzee wrote:Has anyone seen a point been taken away for Vaseline being used during a round before?
Then again this is AWFUL from the ref and the fighters. Entertaining but not boxing
Re: The Official British forum Martinez v Frampton RBR thread
They could have done better than this though, it's a featherweight fighting a blown up flyweight who's nearly a decade past his best and has spent most of the last 5 years in retirement. They had the option to put Stephen Ormond on there and didn't bother.jameswilson wrote:They don't have a huge stable and the two at the top of the bill will be on a fairly big load of money so it's just the way it has to be I think.Black Sam Bellamy wrote:IMO It's a pretty thin chief supporting fight for 16000 paying customers and a card being televised in a number of territories.

Eamonn Holmes getting a few boos and whistles for some reason. No idea why he would be a target for boos.
Re: The Official British forum Martinez v Frampton RBR thread
As long as they don't successfully chant for Mary Peters to show us her tits I'll let them off with booing Eamonn....jameswilson wrote:Eamonn Holmes getting a few boos and whistles for some reason. No idea why he would be a target for boos.
